We stayed here as part of our Christmas vacation. It was a little difficult to find, but once we did, what a gem! The gentleman running the front desk was super sweet and very helpful. My mom and I had separate rooms and they were both beautiful. The decoration in the room was just gorgeous. Everything was quite dainty and simple touches go such a long way. Beautiful accommodation and highly recommended.

Great rooms, comfy bed, very clean, friendly staff. I’d give 4.5 if I could. However, the only extra thing I’d like to see in the room is a safe. Except from that, the perfect stay and would strongly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in a cosy hotel in Düsseldorf.

This was my third stay at Hotel Sir & Lady Astor and it continues to be my favourite hotel in Düsseldorf. 3 nights single room and breakfast came in at €264, including all taxes. It is located 5 minutes walk from Düsseldorf Hbf which was ideal for my journeys to Dortmund, Leverkusen and Mönchengladbach. Rooms are a great spec and the breakfast buffet is amongst the best I have encountered. An ideal location from which to explore Düsseldorf and the wider Nord-Rhein Westfalia region

We stayed at the Lady Astor hotel last night and didn't realise until today that we had actually booked a superior double and ended up in a standard double. Room was spotlessly clean, but felt quite poky due to the layout, especially as the double bed was up against the wall on one side. Bathroom was very small, and the shower cubicle was small too. The bed was hard, only had one flat pillow each, so if you like a nice comfy bed, definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel. On the plus side, there were 2 lovely tiny cakes, nuts and free water. No tea making facilities though. We went for breakfast across the road at the Sir Astor hotel, but were unable to have breakfast immediately, as the dining room was full. We waited 10 mins, then got told it would be a further 15 mins wait. We went back to the hotel room, and after half an hour tried again. This time we were able to get in. Breakfast was ok. Mainly consisted of a cold buffet of breads, pastries, fruit, meat and cheese. There was a hot option which was scrambled eggs with or without bacon. Hotel looked lovely on the website, but we were disappointed with our stay. If we had been given the correct room, we might have written a different review.

The hotel is in a residential area of Düsseldorf about a 10 minute walk from the centre. There is covered parking available at no cost close by. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the check in process was very prompt. The rooms are comfortable and pleasantly decorated-chocolates, cake, mints, water and peanuts are a welcome touch. The breakfast costs €9.00 and is comprehensive and delicious. Overall an excellent experience; thank you.
