The hotel is not far from Dusseldorf Central Station, less than 10 minutes walk, but it is in a very quiet neighborhood. The room is very clean and with comfortable beds. The bathroom seems renovated not long ago, with very new tolet, wash basin and shower cabin. There is a small lift up to third floor. Unfortunately I stayed at...

I'm an actor and traveling a lot. This time I was on tour in Holland and Germany. Company booked 3star hotels in both countries. Schumacher hotel is tottaly not worth 3stars In first place it old, for example lift is dated 1958. Furniture in rooms is also from 70s. In some cases it might be an advantage!!! As a stylish...

Stayed here for 2 nights on an Irish euro 16 football qualifier Great location on the outskirts but only 10 minute walk to the centre of Düsseldorf Rooms are clean , comfortable and reasonably priced given it was a time when prices are normally hiked up We didn't have any food there and there was not really a bar as...

This is an unpretentious mid market hotel in a good location near the station. The room was clean, staff were helpful & polite and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The real bonus was the free pass for local transport which saved us a lot of money during our four days in Dusseldorf. We paid only £31...

My wife & I stayed at Hotel Schumacher for a 6 day break. Good standards for a 3 star hotel. The bedroom was comfortable and clean as were all public areas of the hotel. Breakfast had a good selection. A bonus was the travel pass for public transport. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed at Hotel Schumacher for three nights. It is close enough to Düsseldorf Hbf, the main train station, and is not too difficult to find. It is an old-fashioned but perfectly maintained hotel, and the staff are pleasant to deal with. The breakfast is good, though the breakfast room may be a little crowded at busier times. My room...

I've stayed in several similar type hotels in Dusseldorf city centre and cannot fault this for value and comfort. I will stay here again. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof (including waiting time to cross a few busy streets). The road is not attractive, with small businesses mainly. I felt totally safe in the area. There is a...

At checking-in, the toilet bowl was not cleaned. I reported it, but it was cleaned the next day. The elevator stops between floors. The rooms at the hotel's site look large, but they are tiny. No space to put the luggage. For a larger room there is a surcharge. During breakfast a guest had his huge dog sitting next to...
