Sometimes it's hard to get a room in Duesseldorf so I ended up in the Berliner Hof. I'm not sure if every room is like mine was but mine was not good. It was under the roof, small and old. At least it was clean. The breakfast room on the ground floor is also not nice and kept very dark...

My partner and I arrived at the Berliner Hof on Thursday 5th November for 4 nights. We arrived at the hotel earlier than check in time due to having an early flight and this luckily was not a problem. I had booked the standard twin/double room with private bathroom in the hallway. I requested a double bed a few weeks...

The hotel is cheap, however I would rather pay a little extra for a more modern hotel. To begin the hotel is not in the greatest location, there are no good views, hobos walk past the hotel, quite a walk to the train station to get into town. The rooms are extremely old fashioned and the chair in our room...

The hotel is reasonable to stay for a night at first sight. Though because of a few things, I wouldn't go back: Bad things -Street lights during night never make the room dark, there are no good curtains. At least in the room we had. -very noisy, you hear everything from the neighbors such as toilet visits, talking etc. -Outdated...

Paid over €200 euros for a double room no private bathroom. I know it was during Euro Shop but this was a complete rip off. Breakfast was extra if you could call it a brekfast. Smell of stale smoke in room. I have not one good thing to say about this excuse for a hotel. Must have no minimum standards...

I stayed in this hotel for one night because I couldn't find anything else in Dusseldorf. I will not go back there again. The rooms are very small. The hotel itself looks like it has never been renovated. The beds are very small and the matresses not very confortable. You can hear all the noises from the street and from...

I've been in this hotel in October 2013 and I did not have a great experience. I had problems to book the room. When I arrived my friend didn't find the confirmed booking room, they proposed us to sleep toghether. He refused and they found the room. The room was little with poor forniture, the bed not very comfortable; the...

It is not the worst hotel in the world, you don’t see cockroaches climbing the walls and the sheets are clean but it is a very old carpeted hotel that has clearly accumulated tobacco smells over the years which offers quite a disgusting scent to wake up to in the morning. It’s very cheap, which is great for young travelers,...

The room had no windows and the bed linen seem not to be clean. The bathroom is not clean too, and there are 4 bathrooms for more than 60 people. Walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbor's TV. Finally, the internet was not working and not all the guys from the stuff are friendly.

My husband and I visited this hotel in March 2012. The receptionist could not speak one single word English. The room was dirty and the carpet was stained! The room had a refrigerator, but there was no plug... We were given a twin room, with 2 separate beds, although I requested a double room. The pictures on the website are...
