My daughter and I stayed for three nights, our second stay at this hotel. Our room was very large and at the rear of the hotel so nice and quiet. Traditionally furnished so nice and cosy, bathroom whilst not big was clean. We were given travel cards which gave us free travel on local train and trams. The owner of... More

I have stayed at the Lessing Hotel this past 2 weeks and 4 years ago during the Drupa exposition. Its a great little hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Only issue may be that there is no air conditioning so during the summer the room may be a bit warm. The staff is outstanding! Nice breakfast room with attentive... More

I only stayed one night, but this was a delight from start to finish. The reception staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied with good quality products & the room I stayed in was well appointed with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom. The only down point is a close church which has bells that chime. Not... More

Hotel Lessing provided a wonderful pace to stay for our 3 night Christmas city break in Dusseldorf. The room was spacious, clean, atmospheric and provided a great base for our stay. We liked the location of the hotel - a short tram ride away into the wonderful centre of Dusseldorf and a very short taxi drive or 25 minute walk... More

I frequently stay at this family run hotel and am never disappointed by the friendly welcome from reception, attentive service, clean spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast buffet. Great value for money and local to the city with the benefit of a free tourist tram ticket which takes you to Old Town in around 10 mins. All in all a... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. The location is very convinient, close to the tram stop. The hotel staff was very kind, polite and helpful. They provided us with the free cards for the public transport for each member of the family, gave clear instructions on how to get to the most popular places. Breakfast was also very... More

Being familiar with Düsseldorf and the local area of Oberbilk, it was a no-brainer to return to the Lessing for our visit to the Christmas markets. Staff great on arrival and actually allowed me to speak German, unlike many Germans who think they are helping by speaking English to a non-native speaker (they are not!). Tram pass sorted asap which... More

A fantastic hotel, we were there for 5 days and they were all so friendly and helpful. It is also well located , close to trams and trains. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, I cannot recommend this hotel enough .
