Stayed here for one night in March on Sunday. The room is huge and has a lot of amenities including microwave, fridge, stove, dishwasher and a washing/dryer. The hotel is really quiet. Parking is underground with plenty of space. Breakfast buffet is included with plenty of selections. Workout room is relatively good with various exercise equipments including three treadmills. There are two TVs in the room. I tried the washing machine that also functions as a dryer. It is small (8kg for washing and 5 kg for drying). It takes time to get clothes dried (2 hours). Since those clothes are washed and then dried right away, most of them come out with wrinkles. Better to wash them first, then take them out first and put them back again for drying after straightening them. This will reduce the wrinkles. Also, just a fair warning about the machine. Sometimes its door can’t be opened (still locked). There is an instruction what to do in that case. If it still won’t open, call the receptionist for help.
The hotel has a great location. 5 - 10 minutes walk to Königsallee.
All hotel staffs are really helpful.

A great hotel. I was very surprised by everything in my room, including the washer/dryer. Good room size, area for cooking and eating as well as doing some work - or figuring out where to go next. Breakfast buffet was a delight from eggs cooked to order, salmon, numerous breads, cereals, juices and fruit.
Turns out very close to Rhein, old town, tram, train station, museums and church.
So, a very good hotel in a great location with extremely friendly staff.

Wonderful stay from before the start! Even before we arrived, the hotel staff was amazing via email. They were able to let my teenage child into our room when she arrived hours ahead of adults due to delayed flights. Front desk staff was always ready with a smile to help with restaurant suggestions, brewery research, reservations, etc. Gorgeous lobby and rooms are well-appointed and bathrooms have more than enough space for guest toiletries. Bartender was very friendly and nice and offered his own restaurant suggestions that turned out amazing. The location near Old Town was excellent. Curtains are dark and room was VERY quiet - helped with getting over jet lag. Delicious breakfast buffet! Only minor issue was that there wasn't an obvious place to put suitcases while we lived out of them (only stayed a couple nights of a much longer trip so didn't need to unpack) so they were constantly in our way.

I spent one night at this property for a weekend get-away. The hotel is located in what was the old Dusseldorf courthouse and the architectural features give the hotel a great presence. I was surprised to hear that the hotel is now 2 years old, as my room was "as new". I stayed in a King Bed Suite which was large, with high ceilings, and had 2 bathrooms, kitchen and even a washing machine!

Breakfast was excellent.

Service/staff was excellent.

This is an easy 3 stops from Dusseldorf Central Station on any one of several local metros and then a 5 minute walk through a shopping street. Very easy.

Less than 5 min walk to the river. Also to shopping and eating.

It starts with the beautiful architecture to the friendly welcome of the stuff at check in. They are very professional and explain anything about the room, and are enormously helpful with recommending restaurants, bars or shopping areas. The hotel features a wonderful bar and pianist, as a tasty restaurant. The rooms or my room so to say are enormous, with kitchenette microwave and even a laundry machine. The bed was very comfortable and the down comforter more then expected, it really was thick and fluffy as it was warm. Big TV’s one in the living room/dining area and one right above the end of the bed for a cozy evening if you decide to stay home after dinner. All in one, it really exceeded my expectations and already have my next visit booked.

I came for a quick weekend trip to Dusseldorf. When I walked in the door, the guy immediately offered to take my bag. You have to walk all the way in to find the reception desk.

The check in was very pleasant. He recognized my Hyatt membership and also offered tips about the city.

The room was adequately spacious. The door opened onto a hallway with the kitchen on the right and various cabinets on the left. At the end of the hallway was the table and to the right was a sofa and seating area. It took me a second to find the washing machine...it was in the bathroom behind a cabinet door. It was the type of two in one washer dryer, so after the wash load is complete, it stays in the same machine to dry. You can ask for a soap pod at the front desk.

In the bathroom there was no bar of soap. The hand soap was in a tube, similar to the body wash.

They have evening turn down service. I didn't know that! It was a pleasant surprise to come back and find the room tidied up and water with glasses next to the bed.

My only criticism is that my room was by the doors so I could hear them slamming into the night and in the morning as people came and went from the elevators.

This hotel is very nice and I look forward to staying again.

Without a doubt one of the favorite hotels we stayed in Germany! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff, there was a sense of personal touch as they mentioned our name upon check-in and we were upgraded to a Suite. The staff were extremely friendly, the Wohnzimmer bar was very flexible (appreciate this!) and the receptionist and the bar staff deserve a special thanks. We had a great evening here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

We met the general manager after we have parked our car in a very secured and celestially clean basement parking space. The general manager, Mr. Till Westheuser, was so accommodating and friendly where we sensed why all the staff we met were all-smiling and approachable.

The hotel is centrally located which we always look for every time we go on a leisure trip. The room is huge and immaculately clean which is a necessity specially during this time.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to others having leisure trip.

This hotel is basically Park Hyatt that has been labeled as a Hyatt House! Even though it is a category 3, I felt like we were staying in a category 6 or 7! The entrance is beautiful: magnificent columns on the exterior and a grand staircase in the first lobby leading to a second area (the lobby of the hotel). Everything is handsomely lit and decorated well. The employee at check in was great as well. Very kind and professional. She gave us some great recommendations about navigating Dusseldorf during our stay.

Our room was more like an apartment! Full kitchen and living room with a separate bedroom and spacious bathroom. The décor was also very modern and charming. We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again. Perfect location as well!!

I cannot offer higher praise for this hotel. Hyatt never fails to impress!

We stayed at The Wellem for a weekend treat and had the best time. From the moment we entered, the staff did their outmost to make this stay feel very special and like the perfect safe getaway during Covid. Since we couldn’t use the gym due to Covid guidelines, the staff brought us workout mats to the room and gave us tips for great running routes outside.

Regarding the interior, everything in the hotel screams luxury and fits in very well with the historic building. Very much looking forward to our next stay there.

Lovely property, friendly staff! We were having an issue with the laundry unit in the room and had to call several times to work it out and each time someone was sent directly to our room to assist. They even extended our time free of charge due to the issue. Would definately stay again.
