I arrived just before midnight on a Sunday and left at 06:00 on Monday, so this was purely a place to lay my head. It's a good location, close to the central station and seemed to have quite a few shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel and room were clean. When the light in my bathroom didn't work, the lady...

This hotel is a five minute stroll to the main train station. It's a ten minute stroll to the cathedral so it's location is excellent. The sign on the door says hotel eigel so this can be confusing. Our room had everything we needed and was spotless clean even had a large fridge with free coca cola and water. Clean...

The hotel is very near the main train station of Koln ,harder to find at first but we managed eventually just a 5 min walk.At first impression, the street is at a not so safe neighborhood but it's fairly safe with a lot of grocery store in the vicinity. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and accommodating.Breakfast is...

Cologne, unlike most german cities, is not a cheap city to stay. Its more like Munich, in that matter. This hotel is a great alternative... right next to the Dom and the main train station (not more than 3 min walking). Rooms are really big, even though are really dated. Breakfast is ok. Theres no elevator, but its only 3...

You wouldn't expect what you will get by standing in front of the hotel! It's a five minute walk away from the main train station, but the neighborhood seems a bit uncomfortable to say the least. The hotel is rather small (about 12 rooms only), but very clean with big rooms and nice decorations. The staff is not only very...

We stayed at Hitel Eigelstein 9/27/14. We had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel but once we did we were pleased with the central location. The hostess did not speak much english but we were able to communicate effectively. She was very friendly and provided a wonderful breakfast for us. The rooms were clean and completely adequate. Note that...

We arrived by train on Sunday afternoon and were a little concerned about the area the hotel was in as it seemed to be a bit grim but it turned out to be very close to the station, the Dom and many eating places and convenient for getting around. On Monday the area seemed brighter as the shops and businesses...

This place was great! The rooms are bright and spacious. It's near the station, but I couldn't hear any noise from the trains and the staff was very friendly. Grocery stores are close by if anything is needed and we had the bonus of a small fridge of in our room. The breakfast was quite good. Everything about staying here...

Brief stay on business but serve well for sightseeing too. Helpful friendly staff. Clean functional and despite nearby Hauptbanhp quiet. Roomy compared to larger and more modern places. Excellent variety of choices for breakfast.
