This is more of a small guest house than hotel. As the title suggests - No Frills and very basic. Just somewhere to sleep (small rooms) and then get up and go. Its around 15 minutes from the bars, Dom and main train station. No coffee or tea facilities in the room (wouldnt fit anyway) but there is a water...

Connectivity to public transport is good (but I guess that is more due to German excellence of public transport connectivity rather than the hotel); but that's about it. Very ordinary rooms; the rooms and the bathroom was tiny. The receptionist was welcoming but we were told that he is available only till 6 pm; so post that we were to let...

Small and creaky hotel, completely standard and absolutely basic hotel. Its definitely a 'no frills' hotel. Rooms were extremely standard and the bathroom was tiny. Was even overpriced at €100. Location was at the top if the town and so bars, clubs and pubs are very close. Would not go back to this hotel just for the standard alone

Located only 10-15 minute walk from the dom, this is a perfect hotel for a citytrip to the Christmas markets in Koln. Nice and quiet hotel, small bathroom, but definitely value for money. Also very cheap parking in the nearby streets.

The location is excellent - 15min walk to Koln HBF. Unfortunately, not next to any tram or bus line...so the closest you can get to the hotel is 10min walk away (or by taxi). We got rooms on 3rd floor...no elevator so had to hike up with suitcases. Tiny room but tastefully done. No fridge/coffee/bar etc. The staff is very...

There was really nothing wrong with the establishment but the place is in need of a revamp and the wifi didn't work very well in our room. The staff were friendly though and the location ideal, close the the train stop and 15 minute walk from the centre of the city.

A couple of items up front: the staff is polite and the hotel and rooms are really clean. The location isn't bad with access to the underground rail close by and the Old Town a 15-minute walk away. There is also no AC but that's actually a common thing in Cologne outside of the largest global franchise hotels. My main...

When we arrived here we waited 15 minutes at the front door ringing the bell. The cleaner opened the door to us then up a flight of stairs to wait for another person to slowly emerge from a back room. We were told we had to pay the whole cost of the stay plus city tax upfront for our stay,...

My single room was clean and had a shower, towels, a tv with a wc outside. The guy on reception was amiable enough if not that chatty. Free wifi which worked everywhere. Key to the front door so you can be as late back as you want. The hotel is located about 15/20 min walk from the central station but...

Nice little hotel but very basic but reflected by the price. Stayed with my teenage son for a Bundesliga football visit and had room 16, with twin beds. No kettle provided and was on first floor at front and directly outside of the window was the hotel sign which was fully illuminated at night making the room very light so...
