During a weekend stay, November 18 to 21, 2016, I found the Callas AM Dom to be a very nice hotel. a bit difficult to fine on, unless you look above for the banner. The staff friendly and cordial. I had a room in the back, of the hotel so I did not have any problems with street noise. Breakfast...

From previous reviews, Woodford were cautious about the welcome they would receive from the owner of Hotel Callas. Former descriptions ranging from a cross between a werewolf and Ebonizor Scrooge set to greet us at the door. This could have not been further from the description of the 'joker' who met us at reception for our 2 night stay. The...

Stayed Dec 2017 for a Christmas Markets visit. The location if you arrive by anything other than a car is excellent, Shopping on the doorstep, only a short stroll to the Cathedral and not too far from the train station. The hotel itself was a big disappointment for over 100 euro's. Arriving by car you can't get to the hotel...

Two retired couples on a Christmas market weekend break. On arrival the male receptionist (jokingly?) confiscated a guest's walking stick and after reading the name on it repeatedly called him Charlie in a mocking way. He did not return the stick until we insisted. The following day at breakfast, food was slow to be topped up and so a queue...

Cheap and cheerful without being cheap and not particularly cheerful. Small rooms which need a makeover. Not clean and odd layout of building means my room opened up onto the breakfast dinning room. This made for noisy mornings. Poor

Fantastic location right in the very heart of Cologne. The accomodation/rooms are of an older style but there is still a lift for bags. Breakfast was a cold buffet but had a decent variety. The staff are very willing to assist however possible. Definetly fantastic value for its location and inclusions.

Nestled in the heart of Cologne city centre, less than 100m from the Koln Dom Catherdal, the hotel can't be better positioned. The entrance to the hotel is small and easily missed, so keep an eye out. Rooms were basic to say the least, equivalent to that of a 2 or bottom end 3* in the UK. I can't comment...

This is a perfect hotel for tourists who want to live in the heart of Cologne. All attractions are within walking distance, plenty of restaurants and shopping places around. Not so good for a business traveler (me) who came for a trade fair at Kolnmesse. I had booked a room 10 days in advance and the price was twice as...

As you can understand from the other reviews the best thing about this hotel is its location. It's on the central shopping Street of Cologne. Hauptbahnoof is just two minutes by walking. I could see the dome from my window. My advice woulld be not to book a room from the Street side. It's really noisy even at 3am. you...

If you want to be in the center of town, near the Dom and Hauptbanhof, this is the place for you. It's on a pedestrian street, literally two minutes from the Dom and three from HBF. It is on a shopping street, so if your room is on the front and you have your windows open, you will hear noise...
