This is an average/good business hotel located midway between the city center and Cologne University. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. The hotel was a bit dated and there some strong smells from time to time. Overall it was fine for a few days business stay. The worse point was that the internet...

Reasonably priced hotel. We were in a room for 3 and there was plenty of space for all 3 of us. Plenty to pick from at breakfast. There for a long weekend. Close to a station and walking distance for the bars and town.

We were here 3 nights just before the Christmas and our visit was all about the Christmas markets. We were decided to visit all 8 of them and the location of the hotel was ideal for that purpose. The street were the hotel is was quiet but the nearest 3 markets were all just around the corner. There were also...

The hotel is ideally placed for most of the larger markets and are about 10 - 20 minutes walk away. I booked 4 rooms for family / friends for a 3 night stay. The rooms varied considerably in size. Condition of them was ok but basic . Lights not working in some rooms and bathrooms , well let's say tired...

Do not trust the professional photos put up by this hotel. While it is very affordable and at a good location for Christmas markets, this place was by far the WORST PLACE I've stayed in Germany. Firstly we were place on ground floor by the cleaning storage room; while there was no major street noise, the cleaners going in and...

The Good: price & close to public transport. Bedding was comfortable and the elevators worked. Luggage service helpful to see the city. The Bad: No hot water for the shower. Rooms booked together nowhere close to each other. Unreliable wifi. Hard to manage with stroller due to stairs before elevators. Our arrival started out difficult when we discovered that the...

We stayed for 5 nights to visit the Christmas Markets and this hotel is perfectly located. The staff speak good English and are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable but one lumpy pillow wasn't really enough. There was some mould in the shower and the towels were very thin so I would recommend taking your own. You will also...

We stayed here whilst seeing the fabulous Christmas Markets. The hotel is located so 4 of the 6 markets are within walking distance or it's easy enough to get the tram if, like us, you've walked your legs off. Staff were very friendly and very helpful, room was very clean although the bathroom had a few corners/ledges that were dustier/dirtier...

You get what you pay for so don't expect 5 (or 4) star quality from this hotel but if you're looking for somewhere fairly cheap for a short break it is comfortable and in a great location, especially for all the Christmas markets. The rooms seem to vary a bit in size but we had a fairly small "double" room...
