The hostel was quite cheap and situated not far from the city centre, the Southern railway station and the a big shopping area. The room and the linen were clean. There was a locker, which came in handy when we wanted to leave our valuables at home. However, the common premises (kitchen, toilets and showers) were quite old, not too...

This was a nice enough place. Great location. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. There were always people hanging out in the lounge/kitchen which was a nice way to make friends. felt safe too.

The hostel was very clean, the rooms were big and bright. Left over shampoos and creams free to use, also tea and coffee always available and free. The chairs outside in the smoking area. They were way too broken.

The staff here were friendly and very accommodating when we arrived late. Each room is themed, we stayed in the dragon room which was brilliant. Each bunk had it's own privacy with curtain, shelf, light and plug sockets in the bed. I know not every room is like this, but I think it should be. Breakfast was included but was...

The black sheep hostel is a great place to stay for your trip to Cologne, alone or with friends. Near to the city centre, clean and nice rooms and bathrooms and a big nice living room/kitchen where free breakfast is provided, free Wireless and very friendly and cool staff. And really fair, small costs. :)

I stayed in the Black sheep for four nights in the Ocean Room and had a great time. After being to a few of the big names around Germany it was refreshing to find a smaller cosier place. Rooms were themed and all seemed clean, toilets and showers also in good condition. The only mess I came across was in...

Stayed here for a stag do and it was just what we needed. The hostel isn't right in the centre of Cologne, but you can get a tram from the main station which costs about €2 and takes roughly 20 mins. The trams are very frequent as well. We chose this hostel as it is in the student area of...

The black sheep hostel lies perfectly at the center of cologne so that you can walk almost everywhere. The staff is really friendly and you will always find people to hang out with in the community room. Me and a friend stayed the first two nights at the women's dorm which I would definitely recommend. The beds there got their...
