I arrived via taxi late on a Saturday night at Adolph's, glad to see the warmly lit restaurant was still open. I was welcomed by chef, owner, proprietor, baker all in one - an amazing young man. My single room was small but immaculate and equipped with everything I needed. In the morning I awoke to the intoxicating smells of...

We had a good stay in this hotel and the breakfast is excellent. It's near the train station to town and we had a good walk around the neighbourhood. The dinner is good too. Recommend to try some fresh bakeries in the morning. Stayed from 3 to 5Sep.

Adolph's is situated just outside of Cologne's city centre, a 15 minute ride on the S-Bahn (the stop for which is right next to Adolph's) will take you to Köln HBF right next to the Dom. Our room was cleaned daily and was very pleasant in size and character. However I would have much preferred a standard double bed as...

Showed up a couple hours early for our check-in expecting to just drop off our luggage and store it behind the front desk. Without even asking them they expedited the cleaning of our room so that we could get fully check-in and settled in our room early. In the 20 mins that it took to do this they allowed us...

Very easy to get to from Cologne Airport. Straight on the train at the airport then involves one easy change onto the underground, and then its about 8 minutes travel time to the guesthouse on the UBahn. The tram stop then is more or less right outside the door. The trams run regularly about every 8 mins so travelling to...

Decent hotel away from the city center (but with easy access to it through public transportation which is right in front of the hotel). The room was good and very clean. We had a good stay at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly, but there doesn’t seem to be any front-desk-staff, which we found a bit strange and which...

Considering all things relevant to a pleasant stay at a reasonable price, you can not beat Adolp's Gasthaus. Location Eight stops about 10 minutes from the Dom. Easy! Room Very comfortable, small, quiet, clean room in a quiet neighborhood. Food In house first class restaurant. Responsive, friendly, bilingual, service. Bakery Yes this b&b offers an adjoining bakery. Nice to wake...

Great location because its away from the city but right on a tram stop. Little hard to find front door as we had to go into the restaurant that is downstairs. Rooms are upstairs and are just your basic room though a generous size especially for Europe. Bathroom was okay, shower was good. Wi fi had a few issues while...

We enjoyed our stay here and particularly enjoyed the breakfasts. It is 15 minutes by a frequent tram service from the centre of Cologne and situated next to the tram stop. We were on the ground floor at the front which was a little noisy but nothing serious. On Saturday morning we had arranged a later breakfast with our family...

We stayed here recently on a 2-day trip to Cologne. Many of the hotels we looked at first were more central to the city, but cost a great deal more per night. Adolph's isn't central - two or three different trams or a 15-minute car journey are required to get to the city centre. The room was clean, the bathroom...
