Fast check in, friendly staff. The room was spacious with a large bed, floor heating, large bathroom with Occitaine products. Loved the room coffee machine with free pods. Very good breakfast, multiple choices for every taste. The outside terrace is probably lovely in the summer. Not sure about distances to city Center and other tourist attractions as this was a business trip, but short drive from airport.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed for a couple of nights at the Kameha Grand in Bonn. The location is great for walking and cycling and about 15 mins drive from the centre of Bonn on the other sider of the river. Lots of very safe cycle paths everywhere. Our junior suite was large and very comfortable. Strangely, the mini-bar was empty, but I did not find out why. The styling would not be to everyones taste, but I certainly liked it and the hotel is flooded with light. Breakfast was very good with the usual offerings. We made use of the swimming pool on the 3rd floor in the spa, which was heated and overlooks the Rhine. We found the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable throughout. We used Uber to get around Bonn, although the service only recently came to Bonn and the service was a bit patchy. Be prepared to wait for longer than you would in bigger cities such as Berlin. We did not try any of the restaurants at the Kameha as we were only there for a short while. If anyone needs a recommendation, try Oscar in der Remise, about 8 minutes away by car. For travellers to Germany, bring cash as the country is still behind the times and a bit analogue. The lovely Rheinlust beer garden about 10mins drive away does not accept any form of credit cards. This establishment was a concert hall with exceptionally loud music blaring until after 1:00 a.m. two of the nights I **tried** to sleep there (Oct 16 & Oct 17). As an international traveler, I found this situation intolerable for such an "upscale" hotel.

A very contemporary hotel, the rooms are excellent and nicely themed. I stayed this time in sports room, with punching dummy, dart board, table soccer. The rooms are grand and have excellent beds and showers etc. Breakfast is a MUST!

This hotel is a bit different from a standard hotel, in a good way, because of its modern decoration and it is situated at the banks of the River Rhine, but not at the side of the city center. It is therefore very easy to reach from the motorway and has a large parking. I stayed in a suite at the end of the corridor overlooking the river and the view was exceptional. My only issue was with the lights and the curtains in the room. Everything was electrical and I just missed a simple way to switch the lights on and off if you enter and leave the room. It was all too complicated to get it to work, so half of the time it was too light or too dark. Breakfast was excellent, All in all a good experience.

This is a great place to go to if you would like to relax and have some privacy time with your other half. The hotel is very well-equipped the staff is very professional the rooms are very nice designed and modern. If you go there check out the roof as well.

Beautiful hotel, Art Deco throughout, not my taste but well done, interesting sculptures all over the hotel and rooms. We had room 299 overlooking the Rhine, floor to ceiling windows, saw barges come and go. Comfortable bed, great shower, soft linens. English speaking tv channels. Excellent breakfast, all types of coffee in the lobby, at all hours.

The hotel is a nice location, a 20 minutes ride from Bonn, but close to the river with a number of nice restaurants around. The area is very quite, but it makes a good starting point if you have a car to explore the area. The parking is outside of the hotel (a bit too expensive), and you need to leave them the key each time, but at least you can charge if you have an EV or an hybrid. The interior is quite stilisti, maybe a bit too much red everywhere, but it works. Breakfast is fine, but (as the visit was during the pandemic) I would have used more the enormous space between outside and inside that had few tables, instead of cramming people in a smaller room with no ventilation. They also do not check vaccine status etc… but at least everyone wear masks. The room and the bathroom are fine, with a very nice shower, but the lighting is a bit confusing and not so good. As we had a room looking at the internal court, so it was a bit too dark even during the day. The roof top pool is really nice, warm so it can be used also when it is cold, and with an amazing view over the river Rhine. People working there are all very friendly and helpful.…
