Rooms are small, but if you travel for business that's perfect. The hotel is small, clean and the rooms are great. While you might have to use the stairs to the top floor, the rooms are spacious! It is a little unexpected to find such a nice and well decorated place in Bielefeld! I had a room under the roof and had plenty of space. Despite the fact that I was... More

Altough the hotel is small the excellent service and location will make you come back. Recently renovated on the inside, it`s minimalistic design is offering a relaxin stay, the breakfast is very good, as is the staff friendly. The only back draw is the "lazy elevator" and the fact that after 22 there is no reception service.

Female receptionist of Sunday evening was very welcoming. We had a room on 4th floor which was very hot and stuffy. Lovely large shower and modern bathroom. Very centrally located with a number of bars and restaurants close by. Breakfast for an additional €10 seemed somewhat mean and should be included in the tariff. We booked this hotel as Trip... A nice small hotel with a slightly more personal touch. Nice lobby-breakfast area. Breakfast is vey good, even the coffee is good. Location excellent and the staff very friendly. Only downside is that (at least the single) rooms are quite small, and the lightning in both the room and the bathroom is a bit suboptimal. Overall a nice place to... More

Stayed tehre one night (last night - April 29th-30th). Very nice staff! This is small mid range boutique hotel, very reasonably priced and I felt that the staff really appreciates their quets. - five stars for that! Rooms are very clean and for price range this is to my mind very good value. Actually the breakfast is better than in... More

I passed Bielefeld on a business trip and had the pleasure of staying at Altstadthotel for one night. It was a great change to my normal business hotels. The staff is lovely, the rooms very nice and almost everything is new.. I was told the hotel has just recently been renovated, and I must say the owners had a great... More

I stayed for 2 nights at Altstadt hotel in Bielefeld. The room is good, brand-new and well decorated. Air conditionning is missing and the street might be noisy. The bedding is very confortable. The lobby is very "vintage", it has not been renovated since 1980's I guess! So if you love this period you would enjoy the lobby. The breakfast... More

The place must have undergone a complete make-over. Rooms are stylish and modern. I was probably the first person to sleep in there. The location is just off Jahnplatz in the charming heart of town and makes it the perfect location for a city trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for shopping and dining. Great breakfast.
