This hi tel is located right at the Stralsund railway station and still just a 15 minutes walk away from downtown. And this walk is worth the while. Many attractions in Stralsund are awaiting you to be discovered.

A little dated in appearance compared with modern hotels but none-the-less friendly, welcoming and comfortable. The receptionist seemed a little confused over our booking. She was unaware that we had booked a car parking space for the week as we were going on a cycling tour and it was all prepayed but in the end it all got sorted out...

Very close to Stralsund station in a smart, reasonably quiet street. My room was large and comfortable with a settee and armchair. Customary two single beds pushed together provided plenty of bed width. It was quiet inside and only minor road noise. Breakfast was in a light airy room with a decent range of cold and hot items. It was...

Spent two nights, saturday and sunday. The property met all expectations, and was as described on their website. Per suggestions on TA, we asked for a room on the back side of the hotel facing the old town. The hotel upgraded us to a very nice room with a separate seating area that opened out onto a large terrace, shared...

Even though it is only 100 meters from the train station (within sight from the front steps) the hotel is in a very nice neighborhood with very little traffic on the road and none of the scruffy characters you sometimes see near a train station. It is a very nice walk into old town through a park and bridge over...

A very good Hotel near the railway station and 15minutes walking far from the sea. There isn't a restaurant inside but very near (5minutes walking) you can reach the Neuer Markt square where you can find different restaurants. Prices are good and the personel speaks English.

Built in 2005, this great little hotel (33 rooms) is ideally located only 100 yards from Strasund Train Station. Our room was spacious, clean, and with modern furniture, and the bathroom and shower were also modern and spacious. We were located at the front of the building, but suffered no undue noise from the cobbled street outside. The breakfast room...

We spent one night at the Jungfernsteig en route to Binz on Rugen by train. It made an ideal stopover point. The hotel is very close to the railway station, and just outside the old town centre of Stralsund. It is an easy walk into the historic centre of Stralsund. The Jungfernsteig is of good standard, with nice clean rooms....

If you visit Stralsund an excellent place to stay is the hotel Am Jungfernstieg. It is located about 50 mtrs from the train station (but not at the noisy square) and has excellent, ample and quiet rooms at the backside, with a view over the Knieperteich and the old town. Service is good and friendly. Breakfast is beyond all critique...
