I reserved this room with an understanding the European hotels are a bit different that US hotels. The room was clean, that staff was nice and helpful. There was no coffee maker in the room even though there is one in their online pictures. You have to ask for a key to the kitchenette in the room, and you will...

Bathroom sink was leaking so bad that my wife almost slipped and fell. We informed the front desk to send someone to fix problem and no one came. Did not sleep well since you can hear people in the hallways like they are in your room. Had to pay 8 euro a day for breakfast and another 8 euro a...

When looking for a clean place to lay your head to rest, then the city hotel is a good option. The rooms and bathroom were clean, the staff somewhat shy, yet friendly. And the location near the centre is a plus.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and close to the center of the town. Bathrooms and room are small but are clean. The breakfast was also nicely done in typical European style. Less than 5 min walk to the city Rathaus and center. Would stay here again anytime in Wiesbaden.

I stayed 2 nights at this not really 3 star hotel, also noisy from the street. they nearly want to double the room rate because of some conference starting so I moved to a much better hotel also just some steps from center and without conference problems for the next 4 nights

As others have mentioned this isn't a luxury place. Typical of European hotels the rooms are small. Mine had a single bed and on the fifth floor. There was parking available. Breakfast was a good spread with warm eggs and lots of meats and cheeses and fresh bread. My room didn't get cleaned during my five night stay but the...

I was staying at this hotel for 3 nights whilst working in Wiesbaden and have no complaints about the hotel in general, it is a 3 star budget hotel, the room was very big and clean but with a single bed and a wardrobe the rooms are very sparse, the bathroom was tiny and the shower was an experience in...

We stayed for one night in this hotel and it was great. The ladies at the reception were multilingual and managed to communicate with most of their guests. it is a small cosy hotel in a perfect location. It is right in the city and less than 5 minutes walk to the beautiful kurhaus and marktkirche. Not to forget, the...

Because my first choice hotel did not honor my pre-paid reservation, I ended up paying €208 per night (€199 + €9 for breakfast) at City Hotel. While this is outrageous, it does have the advantage that they have vacancies during conferences while everything else is booked. You're better off eating breakfast at most of the cafes in the area.

For sure, this is not a "nice" hotel, or one of the "better" in Wiesbaden, but, it is not advertised as such. What it is is a very clean, moderately priced hotel steps from the inner city. Breakfast is provided (I didn´t eat it, but it looked adequate with eggs, meat, yogurt, cereals, bread, assorted spreadables, jams, teas, etc. I...
