NUMBER OF ROOMS
I stayed 5 days at this luxurious spa resort. Huge, quite, very clean rooms. The spa area is clean as well, and offers multiple services. Over all very satisfied. The disadvantage would be: it is a little bit far from the city center.
We decided to visit the Spa Hotel for an after Christmas treat and because they offered an attractive deal. The Rosenpark is not too far away so we avoided a long autobahn journey. We enjoyed the Spa facilities that were well run and although busy but never too crowded, we always found somewhere to sit and rest. The breakfast was included and I did joke before we arrived that for the price we should be offered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and we were. I particularly enjoyed the large selection of loose tea on offer, the first time I have ever experienced this in a Hotel. I am now considering returning to loose tea again.
We have never been made feel more welcome in a hotel as a family. We booked a long stay room, from the moment we checked in, the staff were super helpful. They were considerate and happy to be there. In our room they had placed items for our two year old to play with. The pool and gym were great and as a treat we ordered room service and it was great. It is a classy, sophisticated place that is worth the money.
I stay here when I visit Marburg with my job. I am so well looked after. This time when visiting I noticed that hotel staff on reception always knew my name whenever I stopped by there. It was impressive. Also all the gym equipment has recently been replaced with very well engineered machines that are the best I have ever used. A charming hotel with extremely courteous staff that go out of their way. All in all a delightful experience.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights while our grandson got settled in for a study program at Marburg University. Our friends dropped us off at the hotel and after that we mostly walked everywhere, but did use the bus and a taxi a couple of times. The city center is about a 20 minute walk away. If you walk along Pilgimstein, there are two lifts that will get you up to the Oberstadt without having to climb the hills. The hotel is excellent. The comfort suite we had was spacious and well appointed. The shower was a very nice size and had a strong spray. We were pleased that it was flush with the floor and required no step up/down to enter or exit the shower. The breakfast buffet in the morning was extensive with hot and cold dishes. You could have your eggs cooked to order. The selection of bread was extensive and delicious. Their orange juice was fresh squeezed and the smoothies were delicious. All of the staff were friendly and ready to help. Almost all of them spoke English. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!…
