I initially booked a standard room which was small, uncomfortable and at 69 eur not really cheap, fortunately the very kind personnel managed to get me a "deluxe" room which seems enormous compared to the standard one, has two balconies and looks very nice, it felt like moving from a tent to a penthouse as i definitely worth the extra... The room was perfectly adequate and clean but very tired looking. Only one pillow and one thin duvet provided. No free standing shampoo /soap but fixed . This always gives me a bad impression that guests are thought to be thieves. Breakfast was good with enough choice for vegetarians and vegans - soya milk brought on request. Annoyingly having checked... More

Very reasonably priced hotel. Clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Secure parking. 15 min walk to the city centre. Room very spacious but no air conditioning- we stayed on a very warm night, air con would have been good! . Pillow was a bit flimsy. Would stay again

This hotel has everything what you need to stay in the town for a view days. Little small disadvantage is, that it is between two tram stations, but you do not have to walk very far. Parking is normally available in the street, but the hotel also as a reserved and protected park area.

I stayed here with a friend in September 2014. The hotel was a nice surprise. On the outside it doesn't look like much and the inside in along the same lines. This is no high tech fancy modern hotel however it's age doesn't work against it, as everything is very well maintained. The room we had was at the end... More

Booked a room for a business trip in Kassel and was lucky that I was given a room in the last floor with a nice view. The room was decent with enough space and gratis gummy bears each day. Staff was trying to be helpful, but as very few spoke English the result was not always the best. Everything is... More

This hotel is not nice, it makes you depressed. The rooms reminds you off a little room you would get on a ferry, and I actually felt a little sea-sick. The price is extremly high for what you get !!!!! The staff is rude, and...weell, just don't stay here!

We stayed one night at this hotel while driving between Italy and Sweden. The hotel is reasonably central - a 20 minute walk to the main shopping and museum district, or 2 stops on the tram. University buildings, various bars and shops are a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. The interior design of the hotel is extremely dated... More
