Great little boutique hotel with a lot of attention to every detail. My room was nice & super clean. The service was extremely friendly and also professional, coffee hand made and not from a nasty machine. I will come back soon!

From the first to last moment, a wonderful stay. Our room (the suite) was excellent, the breakfast nice, the location great for a Bergspark walk - and all the staff was absolutely lovely. When we couldn’t find suitable dinner food for our kids (age 3 and 5) on the menu, they offered to fix something else or reserve us a table at a different restaurant. But most importantly, they were genuinely interested in our well-being, happy to chat with us and full of smiles.

House and staff are quite pleasant. It is a small kind of B&B rather than hotel. Rooms are spacious and reasonably equipped with shower, amenities etc. Most rooms however are facing some major street and tram traffic, windows do not have black out curtains or blinds. There is no aircon and you have a choice of a little relieve from the muggy summer conditions with open windows and a lot of noise, or relative peace and quiet but awfully sticky. The wooden plank floors don't help much either for a quiet sleep, unless you are on the top floor. Otherwise, you are exposed,to the noise of every motion on the floor above you. With a price of close to 100 Euro, excluding breakfast....... no thanks

The hotel is fine - but pricey for what you get - could have been Documenta pricing and maybe otherwise less than the 160 EUR we paid which is way too much - the rooms are not luxurious but decorated in a fun way. There was a faint foul odour in the bathroom which we solved by closing the bathroom door. Must be something in the pipes. Nice parking right next to the hotel, a major factor why we chose to be there. And it is free. Restaurant is ok but not anything extraordnary, but more importantly there was no menu option so you pay through the nose a la carte. We did some Bib gourmand michelin recommended restaurants our other nights which had menus and so were much better priced and the food was also better than in the hotel. Staff was friendly enough but they are not there after a certain hour, could have been 11 pm so you are basically on your own then. It is not walking distance at all to central Kassel so keep that in mind if you do not have a car - you might feel a bit stuck out there in the suburb.

The hotel is not centrally located- but that is really the only downfall. The hotel is very clean. We stayed in the Abba room which is located on the 2nd floor- the lift only goes to the 1st floor so if you have heavy cases you will have to drag them up one floor. The 2nd floor has loft bedrooms. The rooms have different themes. The furniture is modern & the rooms are a good soacious size. The room & bathroom is very clean. There is no air conditioner- which if you are staying in summer may not be good. But for our stay at the end of may was fine. There is tea & coffee makIng in the room as well as a complimentary bottle of water & fresh fruit. The breakfast is good- continental buffet. The breakfast area is lovely & again very clean. Staff were very helpful & friendly. It is a great boutique hotel which is great value for money.
