I have travelled all over the world and have stayed in some rough holes but this one takes the top prixe for the Worst Hotel In The World ! We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by more smoke in the lobby than in a 1970s working men's club. The rooms were rundown and had sockets broken and hanging...

I never seen hotel like this in Germany. Room was terrible, dirty. Door to bathroom broken. There was such feeling that somebody was sleeping on bed just before our arrival, it was so dirty. Room was cleaned last time when hotel was built. Location is close to city center, but in very dangerous area. Ya can't walk outside because you...

I booked the Luxor through an anonymous bidding website. My bid was accepted, then I found out which hotels..and then of course some less than nice reviews about the place. I was keen on proving the critics wrong! Did I succeed? Yes and no. Rather than calling the Luxor 'Cheap and Cheerful' and would best describe it as 'less expensive...

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, please take this review seriously as a stay here can only ruin your trip. I found it so disgusting that I couldn't bring myself to eat there and checked out after one night. Nothing worked, shower, tv, lift, even the blinds didn't close and the walls were wafer-thin. But worse...

We spent two nights at Luxor hotel, the location is perfect for visiting the city, just a few minutes walking from the shopping street Zeil. The morning receptionist was very friendly and helpful! The room was big and clean, quite old but it makes kind of vintage. Nice the Van Gogh's picture over the bed! The bath was good too,...

I had to book a hotel at short notice and this one seemed fine but I wish I had looked at the reviews on Trip Advisor first. Pro's: - Great location - Receptionist's are very friendly Con's: - From the moment you open the front door of the hotel you will be greeted with cigarette smoke until the moment you...

We'd book somewhere else and it didn't work out, Everywhere was booked out for a fair; so we weren't with lots of choices. Everywhere was booked out. We were lucky Hans Jurgen did us a deal and we got a room, this was swiftly followed by him finding us a second room, not cheap but cheaper than anywhere else we...
