I knew this was a budget hotel and very near the main train station and all appeared ok until the night. It is very close to the red light area but to be fair also near the heart of Frankfurt. The room I was in was on the 4th floor and I presume at the back as noise wasn't a... More

We had no idea that this place was right next to the red light district until we saw a woman shooting up in the street and a man pissing on the street. What a welcome after a long day on the train. Anyway, the room was decently clean. But you have to pay for WiFi and the staff are not... More

While I don't remember the rooms looking bad, and the location is what it is (downtown and close to the train station, but in a relatively sordid, dirty and unpleasant area), I did have a pretty surreal experience with the guy working at the reception. I had booked my room just one hour before from an Internet cafe because the... More

Stayed here for a weekend in frankfurt. ..sure, the place is in the red light district and is surrounded by druggies, but to be honest, you get good value for your money here! It's the best place in the district. ..The 3 star rating is however a little too overrated. ..room was ok, better than the other surrounding hotels. ..just... More

the rooms were tidy and clean, decent price. the area surrounding the hotel leaves a lot to be desired red light area, drug use.. despite us nick-naming the area CDC (crack den central) there was little more than a passing glance from any of the users that frequently hung around the outside of the hotel.. If seeing users and drug... More

I should have known this would happen. I have been to Frankfurt once and I arrived by train. On that trip I left the railway station and found myself in the red light area. I beat a hasty retreat. This time I thought I had to book a hotel near the place I would be working. I searched on a... More

We stayed 3 days at this hotel between 12 and 15 September 2012. Location is central, although nearby to 'red lights' district it is rather calm and safe (if you do not need 'their' services - just don't use it) Our room was not so big in size, but clean, no smell of smoke, shower was working and clean, beds... This is a horrible dirty hotel in a very dangerous area at night due to the junkies who are injecting in the doorway of the hotel. They are in the street 24/7 and shout and scream all night long and the police have trouble controlling this and it is a major problem in this area. Reception staff are incredibly rude... More
