Love the location, very good view from the room Its walking distance to Romerberg, Central station and good dinning around the hotel. Impeccable service, friendly staff, good breakfast options. Clean and tidy rooms, highly recommended!
Before I start off this review, I would like to give a shoutout to the man who works at the concierge desk. I am not saying his name as that man may not want his name said on here but if the manager of the hotel reads this review, I guarantee they will know who he is. The man at the concierge desk was one of the nicest person maybe ever. This hotel is centrally located walking distance from the Old Town and art museum. If you want to do a day trip to somewhere else, just contact concierge and they will make arrangements for you. The lounge here was amazing and that is how we ate dinner almost every night. If we did not like what they had, then we would just order room service off their wonderful room service menu. Hotel staff was friendly and we had an amazing view of Frankfurt's crazy New Year's eve fireworks display that left me in awe.…
They maintained their exceptional service, I was staying there more than 10 years ago, and the hotel still makes good impression. That is typical Intercontinental with old style furniture and lighting, but stylish in its own. The food, drinks and service in the bar were also good. Besides they replaced toiletry to L’Occitane, which I liked very much. Bed was good, breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed our stay.
I stayed at this hotel again since last year. And it still made my stay nice as usual. A short, 8-minute walk from the central railway station, the hotel stood quietly away from the hustle and bustle while accesses to and from the main streets were so easily, on foot, by train, or by tram. Though, as I had said last time, it is kind of old-styled, it indeed gave a feel of like home. The mild lighting and the yellowish hue of the room, which was well cleaned everyday, compiled a relaxing atmosphere. The air-conditioning was adequate. And each day they provided a bottle of water so as that you wouldn't get thirsty because of the heating. Their breakfast was abundant with Asian, American, and Continental selections. And their staff in the restaurant was especially friendly. Again, it was a nice experience staying there. I probably will come back next time visiting Frankfurt…
Very nice hotel in heart of Frankfurt, close to the main station and right on the river so had some amazing views. The room is a bit out-dated but it's a traditional hotel from the Intercontinental range. We arrived very late and had room service which was a exceptional quality. I always love an Intercontinental breakfast with the array of different options available and we had very good service.
