Nice overnight stay to visit the Christmas markets. The hotel is in a perfect location for just what we wanted to do. A walk round the many squares housing numerous stalls selling food and drinks interspersed with handicraft shops. The Adolf Wagner Apfelwein Stube is a 15 minute walk from the hotel and is a nice contrast to the beer halls of Munich. The hotel is a tad old but rooms are large and comfortable. The concierge was a great help and suggested many places to visit and eat. The front doorman efficiently arranged our taxi to the airport.
Luxurious hotel in Frankfurt with attentive and kind staff. The location was convenient and the room was well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast every day and it was always bountiful with many choices including made to order omelets, fried eggs and bread selections. Oscars was lovely and offered delicious dinner options that we enjoyed. Lovely place to stay.
A wonderful hotel, all services are available, the service is more than excellent, the restaurants and the quality of food are wonderful. It deserves more than five stars. I advise everyone who visits Frankfurt to visit this hotel and restaurants
Safe, quiet and gorgeous large rooms with everything you need. The beds comfortable, warm and clean Very good breakfast in the most beautiful room. 1st Class service from all staff - Thank you so much! Good Location near just about everything!
We had a terrific stay at the Frankfurter Hof. The Grand Deluxe rooms are very nice and modern and still offer the classic ambience of a Grand Hotel. Huge shower and great bathtub with TV! In the evening we went to the Brasserie Oscars and had a nice dinner. The staff everywhere are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Anytime and gladly again!
We stayed here for 1 night. While the hotel itself looks nice you can feel how dated it is when you are in the room: there are almost no power outlets where they should be, the bathroom is rather small and there are important details missing such as a kettle or some small flowers or a fruit basked or chocolates etc. Given the 350 EUR+ price tag per night I can only give it 3*.
We had a great stay and were quite thrilled with the warm staff and attentive grand hotel service. Our category was a grand deluxe room and we were very surprised by the size and comfort. Huge shower and great bathtub to relax in. An evening visit to Oscars with great food rounded out our stay. Always happy to return
I travel a lot and this is one of the finest hotels I used. The staff was well-trained and professional, despite the post-pandemic hiring problems. The public areas are beautiful and well maintained. The food was very good. Breakfast buffet was fresh. A group meal we had was well-prepared and varied. Rooms were well-sized; larger than the European standard. I have seen comments about air conditioning. We had no issues, but, like most of Germany, it will not reach the “freeze” level we’re used to in the U.S. in summary, a fairly expensive hotel, but good value and worth every Euro.
Very clean modern hotel, very convenient, friendly helpful personal. You can find all you need. Very good and perfect location. We have stayed eight days and we would like to stay longer but we didn’t have time to stay more. We hope that we could come back again.
I'am currently in the Steigenberger Frankfurt Room 430, but for the price paid for the room, it's unvailable to get Euronews in french. So the room is very nice, staff are very kind, amenities are top, but Euronews is silent, and for an hotel of this category, you should expect they get BBC World, and Al Jazerah english, but it seems the CEO of this hotel doesn't care. For the price 710 Euro for a room, to get only CNN & Bloomberg, and Euronews that does NOT work (actually euronews works but no sound )....it's hard to digest. Customer got to know.
