We stayed at the Sheraton as we had an early flight and took the train into the city for meetings and dinner. City access was quick and convenient. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a great view of the airport. The hotel is large and it can be a long walk to the room, but worth it. This is definitely the place to stay for airport connections, with easy access to and enjoyment of the city.

We stayed for just a night. No, just 5 hours to be honest. It was 124 euro. And the room was nice and clean. The bed was a little hard but it’s fine. I think it needs some renovation though. It’s still up to date but at the same time it isn’t. The staff at the reception was friendly. It could’ve been nice if they gave us a cheaper price. Because we arrived at 10 pm and checked out 0330am...

I do not understand the policy of this hotel. It was the best airport hotel in Europe. Now it is a real shame. You have only one thing to do: to wait for everything. Rooms are small with no confort. The Club building is still in renovation (it should have opened in September...). No welcome at the check in desk (I am a Titanum Ambassador in Marriott). Some people are upgraded to a Junior Suite (just in front of me), others are not (in spite of the highest status in Marriott). Nothing is done for a Business traveler. Even the amenities in the bathroom, you have to ask for. No more coffee machine in the room (only a kettle). Next time, I will stay at Hilton.

Dear Xbessard, Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I would also like to thank you for taking the time to recall your previous stay with us. It truly saddens me that you had to encounter such experience in our property and that our service standards promise that we genuinely deliver to our loyal guests did not hold expectations. I will definitely share your feedback with my team in order to avoid this unfortunate situation to happen again. Dear Xbessard, please accept my apologies – I really hope we can welcome you back on your next visit through Frankfurt. Best regards, Ralf Stresing General Manager

Overall, this was an average stay. We encountered issues with our room as the power was off during the day. When I messaged the front desk, they said they would send up someone right away. However, even after we came back from dinner late into the evening, the power was still not working. We were going to switch rooms though someone finally came to help. Booking: Booking was quick and simple. I used the Bonvoy application to message the hotel about potential upgrades once we arrived. Check-in: Checking In was one of the highlights of the stay. I was able to message the front desk through the application to inform them that my family would be arriving earlier. They let my family check into their rooms and so they could rest. However, as a titanium member, I do not think we got either of the rooms upgraded as we were facing a building. The location of the hotel was good was it is very close to the terminal. Room: The room was dated. The bathroom was dated as well. Considering how busy FRA is, I would expect this hotel to be regularly updated. Also, the power did not work for most of the day. It did not get fixed until late into the evening when a gentleman finally came up to fix it after several hours. Lounge: As a titanium member, I had access to the lounge. The evening appetizers were decent and so was the alcohol selection. The lounge was small though it was only a temporary location due to construction. Gym: The gym was a average. It was enough for some simple arm or body weight work outs with some cardio machines. Breakfast: The breakfast was another highlight of the stay. There was a large selection to choose from to include eggs/omelettes made to order, lox, and honey comb. Check out: check out went smoothly without any issues. Overall, the stay was riddled with a few issues though there were some highlights which brought it up to an average level. I assume the hotel will undergo some renovations very soon. As a Hilton Diamond member, I may be tempted to stay at the Hilton at FRA during an upcoming stay even if I have to pay a few more EUR as that hotel looks very nice.

Dear Sebastian C, Thank you very much for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. I am very happy to read that you enjoyed your check-in experience and our breakfast buffet. However, I apologize that your overall impression was a bit disappointing. I am truly sorry about the power outage in your room and for the time it took to fix it. This does not represent our standards and is not what our guests expect from us and our brand. Moreover, I am sorry that you found your guest room to be dated. We have just renovated parts of our guest rooms earlier this year and are currently renovating another 233 guest rooms and our Sheraton Club Lounge. I am sure that you will like the result as much as we do. I really hope that you will give us a second chance and that we can welcome you back soon. We would be more than happy to make your next stay a truly memorable experience and to prove that we can do better. Thank you very much for being one of our most loyal members and please accept my apologies for the inconveniences you encountered during your visit. Best regards, Ralf Stresing General Manager

I did not plan to visit this hotel, but due to a delayed flight, I missed my connection and Lufthansa gave me a voucher for this hotel. To start: the hotel location is very convenient, no shuttle bus or other transportation needed: you can just walk to the hotel from the airport terminal. The staff was friendly, check-in smooth and fast.: to my surprise, the only thing I had to do was hand over the voucher: no papers to fill out, no creditcard, ... Excellent! The room was one with two single beds, all was clean and functional, wifi works well. What was a strange experience: My Lufthansa voucher included dinner and breakfast. Dinner was in a specific room for Lufthansa. As most flights seemed to be on time, I was the only one in this -huge- room. The food was in a self-service formula, with only one dish to select from. Next morning, i was happy to find out that breakfast was not served here, but in the standard restaurant. This provided much more choice and more pleasant environment. One important remark: this is an airport hotel, but I did not hear any plane nor any trafiic, noise isolation is very good! Check out was easy: I just had to drop the key in the express check-out box. On prices, I cannot comment, since this was all covered by Lufthansa.
