This is absolutely the best place to stay in potsdam. Forget the hotels. Infront of the lake, next to theaters, restaurant and even clubs. Nice furbished apartments with everything you need, small balcony, wooden floor, spacious bathroom, living room, bedroom and fully equiped kitchen, washing machine... 15 min walking to city center. Absolutely 100% recomendable!

Although when booking you'll get little information, but when you collect your key (even when the reception is already closed) all seems so logical, easy and all was a breeze, like you've been here before.
The view can't be beaten overlooking the lake. The area has so much to offer and all you need is in walking distance (restaurant, supermarket, boat rental, watertaxi, public transport...).
The appartement is excellent, we had one type B on the 3rd floor, with ample place for 2 persons. The area is super quiet. The kitchen fully equipped. The bathroom is super handy and clean. All is super modern!
I would love to come back as Potsdam is such a wonderful place to explore.
The only criticism I could find is the kitchen,which is a bit uncomfortable. Some of the kitchenware wasn't super clean to my taste. Lucky I had my personal washing tablets I used to rinse a first time.

We stayed only for 1 night, it is an apartment building but it´s brand new and very modern, equipped with high quality equipment and material. When I travel, I like to have breakfast, so this is the only one drawback if you´re staying at apartments. There is italian restaurant right next to the building. Overall, everything was great! Nice lake view, helpful staff, although they don´t speak very good English, they tried very hard. I recommend this place to those who are not specifically looking for hotels and love the lake view.

I arrived late, by transit. A bit of a mystery to find the place and then to find the key... Off the beaten path. Interesting modern architecture. Near theater and museums, but very remote to restaurants and night life. Reception closes at 6PM and they sent me an e-mail to show where they had hidden the key. Took a while to figure it out. Once I was in, the place is very spartan. Felt like a hive of unoccupied, speculation apartments with little palpable life. Did not see or hear anyone. I did not score a view of the lake - rather an opposing office building with employees who I could see clearly and they could see me. A little disquieting. Also - place was not quite CLEAN. When walking around barefoot, felt a need to wipe my feet before getting in bed. Also - coffee machine, but no coffee. Would have been a minimal gesture to ensure a nice stay? All in all, I can see how this place might appeal to someone with 1) a car and 2) a partner to help solve the riddle of how to break into the complex and provide some ambient noise/distraction. Next time I stay downtown.

The customer service at Waveboard is consistently superior. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. The location is also breathtaking. I highly recommend it!

Rooms where ok. No breakfast in hotel. No reception after 6pm. Had to pick up key in nearby restaurants. Far away from city life. Nice view but won't see me again. Waveboard is overcharging you for no service at all.

The views from the room on the lake are just stunning, the room is large and comfortable, high quality amenities are provided, the spot is perfectly silent and the hotel is easy to reach by public transport. The lady at the reception was not only friendly and professional but also caring. I'll definitely stay at the hotel again!

Waveboard is at One of the best Locations ,wunderfull view,quite.moderns room ok for two but Not ok for three since Then the 3rd bed. is in the living room and in that case One has to close the Doors of the bedroom ,so the bedroom is a closed room without any window and dampwarm.since Place has no real aircondition but windows all Arouca I Wolldecke Not suggest to Book during the Summer. Service is cut down to minimum in the evening no staff in there are Problems with the key there is an emmergancy Service which comes from berlin Roms are clean and nice and modern. All in all for as the value was Not ok

Great place to stay! Suite sized rooms with balconies, hotel equivalent would be 150-200€. Clean, modern, quiet and an outstanding Italien restaurant next to it. Parking 10€/day I will definitely come back and also advise my boss to stay here next time ;)

The first thing you see when you enter the apartment is the space and the amenities. The location is superb with train station close by and supermarket just 5 minutes away. Apartment also has a sofa cum couch that can accommodate an adult during a night.
Pro: fully functional kitchen with kitchen utensils and crockery Washing machine, vacuum cleaner etc.
Con: due to lack of AC, the bedroom gets stuffy. Needs air ventilation or pedestral fan.
