Breakfast OK. Room Good. Great location. But no wifi. The connection does not work. When asked at reception- they said their wifi didn't work as well as if that would solve the problem. Could have gotten more value for money! Just very frustrating when work is to be done. Especially for people on business trips.

We needed a last minute reservation and Vivaldi seemed to be the best compromise between price-comfort. With many hostels with shared bathroom charging the same as Vivaldi for a private room it was an easy decision and one we do not regret. It's well located, the rooms are simply furnished but comfortable and the staff is nice.

Well situated with S-bahn, U-bahn and bus within 2-400 meters just off Kudamm. Nice area with some really nice restaurants. The hotel is a plain 3 star hotell, nothing more, and as a experienced Berlin traveller i think i can say you will get better value for your money, easily. Smoke free hotell with heavy cigarett smoke scent in corridor....

Nice quiet hood for sleeping. Very helpful staff. Parking is convenient. Super breakfast. Id stay there again. Public transport is nearby. Alot of restaurants and cafeterias nearby. Check from tripadvisor and sort by best nearby. Some under 100 ranking out of more than 6000 restaurants.

Grand entrance steps inside. Old very nice ceilings. But rest of interior is not in style/class with this. My room had yellow walls with wood colored bed, shelves and closet - makes it BUDGET. But potetially this could be very nice I think. No Wifi coverage in room is bad. Cleaniness very good in bathroom but walls in bedroom need...

Stayed here following a recommendation of two Berliner friends. An excellent choice with comfortable rooms. The best Wifi service I have experienced in a hotel and it was free. Breakfast could be a bit more exciting but it wasn't bad. Staff very efficient and it is very close to the bus 109 for Tegel Airport

I was unlucky to get a room on the ground floor and this caused me to suffer a great of noise from the court yard and only some unpleasant smells from the restaurant below. My colleagues who were accommodated one storey higher did not have theses problems. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was really good.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Good value for money, friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast buffet. The room we had was somewhat cramped but the room was light, airy and very clean. The hotel is located in an old building and although there is a lift it serves alternate floors, so not ideal for those in wheelchairs. The S...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

“West side big rooms of the first floor ,if we count the reception floor as a groundfloor even if it is about 4m above the road level, are very quiet, sunny and they see a very nice school building builded with red bricks, very peaceful where you here the children voices with pleasure after your good sleep in an comfortable bed. The inner rooms which are viewing the atrium are not so sunny , they have not a good view but they are also very quiet! Free Wifi exists in all areas of the hotel but not so quick and with some problems.”
