Good place near Hauptbahnhof, Naturkunde museum and center. Very clean and safety. Good personnel. Printed boarding pass for me. Good wifi in the rooms. Price could be cheaper especially as breakfadt is not included

This hotel has really practical location. It is very close to the main street Friedrich Strasse and to the Branderburg Gate and Reichstag. We had very clean and spacious room. Perfect housekeeping service, full mini-bar every day, comfortable beds and pleasant shower. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely we will come back.

Bit weird at first as soon as you enter there's a religious vibe, crosses everywhere and a small chapel/ church within hotel so don't be surprised when you hear mass on a Sunday morning. Aside from that a comfy room with all basic things e.g. hairdryer/ wifi. It's in the Mitte neighbourhood so very easy to get around and 20...

Recommendation from a friend... good location (Mitte) which was walking distance more attractions.... that's the good. The bad: Service - terrible.. not friendly, no one smiles... you do not feel welcome Room - no AC!... the floor is softer than the beds.... spare furniture. Felt more like a college doom than a hotel. Do not try to have laundry done...

The hotel is located very centrally but a bit away from the streets so it's really quiet. The room we had was really bright and had a nice balcony and wonderful quality beds and bed sheets, I have to say. The shower is nice and the overall experience is quite clean. You can do some ironing downstairs if you ask...

Nice hotel walking distance from the Spree (restaurant/bar area), close to tram stop and 10min away S Banh. Very friendly personnel. Paid breakfast with cold and warm selection. Free WiFi. In general very nice hotel unfortunately as many hotels in Europe instead of having one double bed there were to individual beds put together.

Hotel Aquino is primarily the residential conference centre of the Roman Catholic Church in Berlin (and the Church of St Thomas Aquinas is an integral part ofthe building); do not be surprised to see a Cross and a Bible in your room. This hotel offers good quality and very clean accommodation (typical of Germany). A buffet breakfast is available. Very...

The hotel os very close to the central railwaystation - it's about 7 minute walk. Rooms are very spacious, bathroom is equipped with all necessary items and even looks minimalistically stylish. We liked the place where the breakfast is served: very nice and quiet. Overall the hotel is very good for it's price.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
