We stayed here for five nights in this amazing city. The room was a good size and though overlooking Behrenstrasse was very quiet. Facilities in the room were good. The position of the hotel is ideal being just off Fredrickstrasse and a stone's throw from Unter den Linden. The ubahn was easily accessible. The staff were friendly and check in...

The equipments in the room is sufficient. The view from the window forces the curtains to stay always closed. Cleaning the room every 3 days is not a good idea for that kind of apartment. Since you use the kitchen, and produce more trashes than a regular hotel room. The price depends every week, you may see lower prices after...

The hotel is centrally situated in Berlin with privacy and very nice room facilities. All super, the only thing we were missing was a good breakfast, the restaurant next door is providing an average breakfast.

Excellent: cleaniless, size of room, in the middle of city, service, hospitality of personnel. Price was also reasonable regarding the place where Clipper City Home is situated in Berlin. Metro, railway station and bus stop from the airport are also close.

The hotel staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Parking under hotel is a big plus-very convenient. We were within walking distance to a beautiful Christmas market, and most other Berlin sites. Great shopping very close. The room was really quiet and comfortable. We will stay here again!

It was our first time in berlin. It's a big city but the Mitte area is where you want to base yourself as everything is nearby. And of course the underground will take you further a field. The hotel is simple to find, the rooms well appointed with coffee and tea facilities plus a microwave and an amazing power shower....

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
