We stayed here twice and had great rooms both times. Daisy welcomed us both times and gave us all the best information to help us feel comfortable. The pension is in a convenient area for walking and taking the metro. It is quiet, with great neighborhood restaurants and nearby shopping. The inclusive breakfasts were good. There were always many groups... More

We stayed with Pension Pete's in late September. The room was clean, well appointed, quiet despite overlooking the road. The staff were warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. The location really couldn't be better; very close to trains and metro, walking distance to Tiergarten, Brandenburg Gates. Go out the front door, turn left and eat at the Pho Nguyen Vietnamese restaurant... More

Although my husband and I only stayed one night our experience at Pension Peters was very positive. We were greeted by friendly Christoph, offfered coffee from the coffee machine, sat down with us, unfolded a map and gave us tips for visiting Berlin and directions to different sites. We were flying out the next morning so he offered to call... More

Great location. Close to public transport. You do have to walk by a sex shop to access the train station. Good food in the area. Large family room with bathroom. Great value. Great staff. They will answer any questions. I would stay there again.

The rooms are a little Spartan but everything else is fit for a King-size Berlin experience. The level of care surpasses all expectations, people are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they seem to make it their responsibility for you to have a wonderful experience in the city. Location is unbeatable, close to the heart of West Berlin, and surrounded by... More

Very nice room on the ground floor courtyard. Everyone checking in got a quick orientation to Berlin transportation and local eating places. Savigny Platz district has lots of pleasant sidewalk cafes, good transportation for buses to Zoo Bahnhof just outside the door and 2 blocks from Savigny Platz S-bahn station. Breakfast was excellent, reasonable, and could be deleted from the... More

The Pension Peters was first recommended to us by a friend who had lived in Berlin for many years and then stayed there whenever he came back. No wonder: this is the genuine, true Berlin at its best. Nothing can beat the location by the Savignyplatz in the urbane Charlottenburg, where it is easy to feel like a true Berliner,... More

My family & I stayed here for 3 nights in July in the midst of a heat wave and couldn't have had a more wonderful time. The B&B doesn't have any A/C, but they do have lots of windows and there is always a nice breeze, so it wasn't ever unbearable. The rooms are incredibly clean. They are small, yet... More

No frills, but everything you need. Comfortable bed, great shower, lovely breakfast, fantastic location, wonderful people. Nothing was too much trouble and they spent time giving maps and advising on trips. I would definitely stay there again, should i be lucky enough to return to Berlin.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
