The location and price are unbeatable. If you come late, your key is left at the bar next door with directions on how to find your room. The furnishings are eclectic and simple. I had a room in the back house which was very quiet. Wifi is free. It's not fancy, but it has charm. And despite being rough around... More

We had a great stay at Pension Peters. Daisy was a brilliant advisor on where to go and when. We love this part of Berlin - it is hard to beat the convenience and vibe. Breakfast is excellent. The only drawback is that the rear rooms looking onto the Hof suffer from the noise of some kind of exhaust or... More

Second time that we have stayed a couple of nights at Peters Pension. Both times we enjoyed the stay. The layout of the "hotel" is a bit quirky, with a variety of types and locations of rooms throughout the building. One enters through the breakfast room, which is open and sunny and faces onto the street. There's also a very... More

The Pension is a 3 minute walk from the Savigny Platz S Train. From here you can get to anywhere in Berlin. The location is absolutely superb. The rooms are spartan but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tight - which is often the case in Europe. But very clean. We enjoyed our stay!!! There is no lift at this... More

Booked a room there for my wife, son and me after reading the reviews. The room is comfortable and it is close to a central bus station which makes traveling to attractions very convenient(there is a bus stop 50 feet away and with one transfer, you can get to the Tegel Airport for 2.70 euros) . The 7.50 euro breakfast... More

This is a good place to make yourself feel at home in Berlin. It is in a great location, near the Zoo station. It has English-speaking, very friendly and helpful staff, very nice rooms, delicious, cheap breakfast (7 euros), and good wi-fi. And the price is right.

Nordic flair. Very clean and freindly. Wonderful location for night life. The Kantstrasse has a good multicultural mixture of low and high profile bars and restaurants, quality food, old cinemas, and famous bars. Very intellectual district. Good bookshops. English books, too. The best bookshop in Berlin for art and architecture is under the train station. Ideal if you want to... More

We spent four nights at Pension Peters and were delighted with our choice. The staff are all absolutely charming and made us feel very welcome. Our children loved the breakfast buffet and really enjoyed boiling their own eggs. They ate a huge amount but we weren't charged for them, which was extremely generous. The location is great, a lovely safe... More

We stayed for four nights at Pension Peters. On arrival the host gave us a coffee and a quick review of the hotel and area. She recommended the insider walking tour of Berlin, a restaurant, told us how to use the bus system and then showed us up to our room. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Absolutely no... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
