I stayed there 4 days. My room was on 5th floor. The elevator was out of service during my whole time. Wifi was good only 2 days and was extremly slow. Also did not work: 2 lamps, 2 sockets and shower head unstucked. The toilet was not perfectly clean when I arrived. You can not have breakfeast in the hotel....

That was a first time when nobody let us into the hotel. Reception works till 11 p.m., we were trying to call to the hotel about 10 p.m. to inform that we are late because of the traffic. Nobody picked up the phone. When we arrived the hotel was closed and nobody answered our phone calls. In fact we (4...

My non-smoking room smelt of smoke, was poorly lit and the heater barely worked. Worst of all my internet connection was absolutely unreliable preventing me from getting my job done. My inability to work prompted me to try to relocate to a different hotel. I was told that I would receive a refund for the nights that I didn't stay...

I was supposed to have 3 nights in this place, but due to a delayed flight after calling the hotel to said that I'll arrive a little bit late, they don't wait for me... no customer service, hotel looks horrible in the 6th floor of a building, in a small dark street with a beautiful sex shop at the doorstep....

First of all, the hotel was far from main tourism attractions. There was no cafe or restaurants when you step out of the hotel but very noisy as it is along the big street. The hotel was above a big erotic shop. The terrible experience was total unwillingness of staff to fix any problems. Their answers were " no idea"....

We stayed here for one night in June. Unfortunately the weather was terrible, so we didn't get to go out and see any sights. The hotel is located somewhat centrally. The sex shop next door didn't really bother us. and we didn't see and lurid behavior from anyone. We had the large room at the end as there were four...

This hotel tries hard to nestle itself amongst the 3 star players in this area off Kufuerstendamm. The first thing I noticed was that the reception is on the 6th floor & the lift goes to the 5th & you have to walk up about six steps to reception!! Some of the rooms are occupied by people who actually reside...

I wouldn't come back even if it´s for free! I stayed for 7 nights and they don't clean the rooms or provide comodities (soap ...). Only cash payment and you have to leave deposit! Surrendered by porn shops!

The photos published are of the rooms and everything is clean and beautiful, when you arrive in front of the hotel what you notie immeidately is a huge erotic centre which is certainly clearner and more recently renovated than the hotel itself. Next to the centre a crumbling block of flats with a lurid small door. We never did get...

I booked a room at this hotel just to spend a few hours resting before a long haul flight. Therefore, my only requirements were a clean room and a comfortable bed. I checked in and received a room with 4 beds, probably an "upgrade" due to non availability of a single room. However, while sitting on the edge of my...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
