We stayed here for 3 nights on a Europe stop over. Rooms where good. Nice cleaned and good size. The only issue we had was the windows where quite thin and could hear all the street noise. Oh and we had terribly annoying neighbours who...More

This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel, the hotel is within walking distance from the Kudamm, clean, and a good breakfast. The WiFi was slow (improvement required).

Hotel is showing its age, but clean and well-kept. Location is very good, just off Ku-Damm, the main shopping street and several blocks from a S-Bahn station. The 109 bus from the airport dropped me off nearby.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
Hi, I'm not sure if the direction makes a significant difference, but I recently (June 16) caught a taxi from the Mercure Chateau Hotel to the Tegel Airport and it cost €23. It's only about 20mins or so.
