My husband and I stayed here for long weekend (3 nights) in April 2007. The hotel was really great & I would highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff.....they make a mean G&T! The rooms are very modern, spacious &...More
The Wallstreet Hotel is an excellent option if you want a smart and clean hotel in Berlin. Location is not the best, but a U-Banh (underground) station is front the hotel, so you will spend no more than 15" to Postdamer Platz or 10" to...More
Recently back from this hotel and it really made our trip.
Location: Berlin is a big city so you will no doubt have to travel at some point. I would say this hotel is slightly out of it a bit but we did walk to...More
Really nice hotel and great value we paid 280 Euros for 3 nights for a double room. Its located in a quiet area but near 2 U stations which can bring you into the heart of things. As other reviews have said freidstrasse is within...More
My boyfriend and I booked this hotel in advance for only 67euro a night! The value of the place, for that price was amazing. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel, especially for a young couple like us who usually rough it a bit...More

The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
Hi, in room we had, the glass was opaque (frosted) you can't actually see through it. A bit strange but ok, there was a bigger issue with the fit of the sliding door- with a gap of 4 cm (1.5 inch) you could see through that... More

We never used taxis as the train service was so easy. We bought a week ticket for about €30 meaning we never had to worry about anymore travel expenses after that. It took about 30-40 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel. It was worth it though as once at the hotel we were in a prime location for most of the things we wanted to do. The underground train 20 yards from the hotel shared the same line with Alexanderplatz etc.
