Sophisticated hotel with modern designs in the rooms. Clean and comfortable bedding and bathrobes included. Central to main blvd and can walk to many shops and eateries nearby. Staff is helpful and our room on 10th floor was very quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We were booked to this hotel as part of a tour package and looking at the price I don’t think I’d pay this much on my own but definitely worth a stay. It has a little bar fridge which is very handy and a coffee maker and a water kettle in the room. A very relaxing stay
Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Germany! Amazing location, wonderful large room and bathrooms with shower and bathtub. Large breakfast with lots of options. Really nice staff too. All in all a great experience.
The hotel location is excellent, just one block from Kurfürstendamm, the S Bahn & the U Bahn within walking distance and a lot of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Large and modern front lobby, staff was excellent The room and bathroom were large and clean, with all the amenities that you need, a comfortable bed and really soft towels. The buffet breakfast had a very good selection and was tasty. Service from check inn, to check out was very good The only negative is the Parking fee, 29€ day . Overall the hotel delivers most of what you would expect from a 5* hotel, we had a very good stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Not luxurious or pampering, but excellent value. I had a deluxe room on the top floor. Room was huge (although I think all rooms are standard size), as was bathroom. Walk-in shower and sparate toilet cubicle. Plenty of cupboard space. Fridge (empty), kettle and nespresso machine. Good air-conditioning. Bed was large and comfortable, and with good quality bedding and linens. Fabulous location, and one minute to the U-Bahn and busses.
We spent a couple of wonderful days at the Dorint Kurfürstendamm. Loved the design of the lobby and artwork displayed throughout the hotel. Breakfast was sumptuous and tasty. It was a nice touch of the hotel to give us interconnecting rooms for us and our teenage children. Staff was excellent, particularly Peppo (?) the porter. Despite COVID-related staff shortages that were felt throughout Berlin, service at the hotel was prompt, accommodating and friendly. Thank you for filling our stay with lovely memories.
We've visit Berlin for the first time and the Dorint hotel was the perfect choice. It is not close to the main turistic attractions but there's plenty of things to do around. Breakfast was a great experience, specially with the help from Khadija Lakroucha and Fatima. There were extremely efficient and helpful in a very elegant way. That was a real pleasure to start the day!
They even kept most of the decorative objects in lobbies and passageways. Extremely well located in the heart of old West Berlin - why would a tourist want to stay anywhere else - the property has quite up-to-date rooms and bathrooms, a very good breakfast buffet, and a pleasant staff. It was raining on and off during our visit, and of course, we got a loaner umbrella. These are the new kind of very practical folding ones, and apparently, some people love them so much that they "forget" to return them. That's why they register the item before handing it over...
Very nice hotel, good service, clean, good breakfast, not too for from the city centre. The price/quality is OK without more. Very professional staff. Room service on demand, which was just perfect like that.
Booked a 5-night stay on Hotwire - so not able to use Dorint Card benefits (only available if booking direct). Got a standard room on the 9th floor with a great view (see photos). Bed - a very comfortable king-size (200x200cm) with a pillow top mattress topper. Two pillows as standard, could have done with four as standard, found a 3rd pillow in wardrobe. Bathroom - full size deep tub with shower mixer, large walk-in waterfall shower with separate shower mixer, separate WC, twin sinks, large mirror, separate magnifying mirror and hairdryer. Usual amenities - soap, shampoo etc. Facilities - large TV with usual German channels and added foreign stations, including UK channels. Ability to screen mirror with Apple and Android devices. Kettle and mini fridge. Do not be misled by the cupboard labelled 'bar' - this standard room did not have a minibar. Both wired and Wi-Fi (free) Internet available, reasonable connection speed. Separate desk and chairs, plus iron and ironing board in wardrobe. Room could have done with more storage space, perhaps a unit of drawers? Dressing gowns and wetroom slippers also provided. The blackout curtains were good quality and there is air conditioning (which only works if the room window is closed). Added bonus - a Bose Wave music station (DAB radio and CD) Overall, a good hotel in a fantastic location. 500m walk from Zoologischer Garten rail station (40 minutes direct service to the airport), plenty of stores, bars, restaurants, coffee shops on the doorstep, and the hotel also has Le Faubourg restaurant on site.…
This hotel claims to be a 5* category but this is not correct. Although the staff is very friendly, the service and details you normally find in a 5* hotel are not available. Some examples: water in the room is only provided upon arrival, in all 5* hotels I've been, this was available every day. There were no slippers or bathrobes in the room. Bathroom utilities were already used by other guests. (finger prints and grease on it, clearly opened before). Breakfast buffet was insufficient: no fresh (!) white buns or no white buns at all, even when asked for, no sweets in the buffet, no champagne or cava, things you normally find in a good 5* breakfast buffet. When people spilled things on the floor, it was hardly cleaned properly and the next day, the floor was still sticky with the spilled orange juice. So, there's opportunity to improve!…
