The entry in the Hotel is an entry in a new Holiday Inn Hotelworld. All public areas overlap each other loosely and pleasantly and give you the choice, where to feel mostly comfortable. A small snack at the E-Bar, where you can work on your notebook? Or a steak with your cocktail at the Bar? The breakfast in a cosy armchair in the Media Lounge? Or perhaps better at one of the tables in the dining area. Use it according your mood - we offer the flexibility for it. The 217 nicely designed rooms have, beside warm colours and a comfortable furnishing, all amenities of a modern business Hotel like W-Lan free of charge, an I-phone docking station and an air condition, that can be handled individually. A varied menu and room service until 11 pm complete the offer. On request and upon availability you can choose between rooms with shower or with bathtub, with separated beds or continuous mattress, for smokers or for guests who are accompanied by a pet. Stayed here when I went to the Ice Hockey at MB Arena, perfect location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, check in/out easy, the room was clean and bed comfortable, had a very good nights sleep. Gym was good for a cardio workout. A pleasant stay.

Excellent hotel! The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Great breakfast and it’s located 7 minutes walk to a central station with even closer bus station. The staff were very helpful and kind and helped me with any request that I had including late checkout.

Front desk was unprofessional and rude. Staff talked negatively about guest. Manager promised 10,000 points compensation, which isn't much in terms of value. In any event, manager did not post the promised points to my IHG loyalty account. My impression of IHG is very poor as a result of this experience. If I attend an event at the arena, I'll stay at a different hotel.

Location: you have two train stations near, Ostbanhof is the next one so you will get from the airport in about 25 minutes, they also have a bus station about 50 m away from the hotel entrance, There is a shopping mall, 40 m away and many restaurants in Kreuzberg 5-10 minutes walking, this may include Watergate club. Tresor and Berghain are less than 25 minutes walking or 15 in public transport. The room was very clean and confortable, WiFi works properly and the staff always receive you with a smile. Breakfast is well served, with many options, I was surprised that the chef supervised everyday how it was going. They also have parking lot.

Great size clean rooms. My room was on 7th floor so had a panoramic view over the Berlin. Plenty of different options for a breakfast and very friendly staff. Hotel is located near Mercedes Benz Arena and very close to Berlin Wall and Spree river.

This hotel is a 3-star labeled as a 4-star, and not even a great 3-star. I stayed here for 1 night for business and chose it for the location. Upon arriving, check-in was not fast, did not feel very welcomed, my IHG status was not recognized and was not offered an upgrade (as my status would allow me to). The rooms were clean, small and the amenities are definitely not 4-star (instant coffee, plastic cups for water, small, scratchy towels, AC does not go below 20.5, no conditioner, body lotion), there is no iron in the room... The bed also was very small (it was supposed to be king, but was more like a small queen. On top of that, the bed itself was very uncomfortable - I've had better sleeps in my 5-year olds Ikea bed. Also the walls are quite thin, and you can hear people walking in the floors above you. Overall can't recommend and will not be staying again.…

I came in Berlin for celebrating my birthday with a friend and since the first moment I walked in in this hotel I felt unwelcome, but the kind of unwelcome because I wasn’t a speak German human. Couple of kids in the reception are really trying but other than that everyone else unfriendly, rude nobody answers good morning and the breakfast the only things available here is horrible generic ( fresh fruit the only one I can eat was mostly the time old or from a can a part the melon and some bad apple) the cleaning for Covid is ridiculous. For clean a table they don’t even move the silverware. Everyone is on the phone or chatting with each other instead to be friendly with the customers (your real form of income). I’m very glad I didn’t find the same rudeness in Berlin. The American standard for this hotel is below the normal expectation. Best…

For the last few months i have been commuting and staying here at this hotel. Its honestly one of the most welcoming hotels i have ever stayed in. Its honestly the best experience i have had staying in a hotel. Amazing staff keep it up. I can only speak highly of this hotel and it's staff. They are a credit to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Location is very good. Lovely restaurants in the nearby areas. If you are looking for a great hotel in a good location and great staff i highly endorse choosing the holiday inn.

Holiday Inn City East is a compact but very comfortable hotel. Just the right touch to make a supposed middle of the road hotel a charming and easygoing place. Location is nice, close to the best restaurant area of Berlin. Rooms are comfortable. And breakfast is superb. One of the best in months! Coffee was accidentally spilled twice. But the waitress treated it with the largest smile ever. 😊
