This hotel was a treat. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Monkey bar had a great vibe and a good sense of humor. Rooms were spartan but clean - shower took a bit of getting used to as there is no stall and you have to aim at the wall. Would return. Recommended!
Love this cool and sexy boutique hotel, in a very central location for visiting tourists - right above the Bikini Building (an upscale hipster Mall) Though it does come with some minor considerations for the un-prepared.. Nearest station is the Zoo, and its on the U2 line, so fairly easy to get around. Direct train to Airport is about 45 mins. We had a large jungle room - very, very quirky - ever so slightly style over substance, which may bother some - definitely NOT an old-fashioned room - but extremely well-suited to young couples, hipsters and influencers eg there is a bike hanging on the wall, and necklaces draped over the bedposts! Bed is comfy, though sunken into floor. Large bath and shower. We had a slightly average view - despite being sold as overlooking Monkey enclosure of the view, we were on the 4th floor, so in reality the view was mostly of the facility below, fairly ugly. We didnt stay indoors though during the day -too busy sightseeing, so not really an issue - but worth mentioning. There is an extremely popular rooftop bar in the hotel - always saw queues of trendy Berliners snaking out into the street - guests have free access, which is a perk - but it was super busy every night. It also got extremely loud one time around 1am - the bass reaching us 6 floors below, so again, be aware. Again, this is a young persons hotel, so be prepared for this. Throughout staff and service were excellent (like most of Berlin) Every staff member was chatty friendly, international and happy to speak in English. Free minibar was well stocked, and very good, and the overall style of 25 Hours is fun, chic and quirky. We added breakfast every day - its a mixed hot/ cold/ buffet, with some table service - very good, well worth it in our opinion. Some food options nearby, including a small food court, several cafes etc despite some of the hiccups mentioned, the unique style of the building, the very cool location and the overwhelming positivity of the staff push this into a 5 star rating for us. Perhaps deduct a point or two if you don't like quirkiness in your room, nightclub noise, or bumping your elbows into hanging bikes every so often.…
We were in Berlin for only 48h, and we have both been there many times before - and talked about trying this hotel. Service was good, the hotel was nice and clean. I booked the Medium Jungle room because I thought that we would then have a hammock in the room to enjoy the lovely view - unfortunately, that was not the case - but we got a room on the 9th floor just under the NENI restaurant (which I can recommend) and had the most lovely view over the Berlin Zoo and Tiergarten. We woke up to the noise from the monkeys and elephants. Lovely hotel, but a bit too expensive for what it is :)
Wonderful experience! I loved the rooms, the service, the breakfast, and the atmosphere. Ellie at the front desk is an absolute delight and made our stay incredible! She was extremely accommodating and offered us great suggestions on what to do during our first time in Berlin. Will definitely be returning!
25hours Hotel Bikini was the PERFECT stay for our family traveling with 3 young adults. Everyone loved the fun/funny rooms with unique accents - hammock, free bike to use, free mini-bar snacks and funny slippers ... and a plush monkey to sleep with. Our views (8th flloor) over the Zoo/Monkey enclosures were terrific though monkeys were hiding. We did enjoy rooftop dining at Neni's and visiting the Monkey Bar at night. Hotel guests get to roll through like VIPs past the loooong line of people waiting outside. The room setup is lacking a bit in the privacy standpoint for showers, but everything else was tip top and much enjoyed.
Wonderful hospitality, wonderful location. Absolutely top for who would like to have an unforgettable trip. Amazing breakfast and room service. I was with my dog and we had absolutely lovely services.
My daughter and I were able to explore Berlin for 6 days from this wonderfully equipped and unique hotel overlooking the zoo! The breakfast offerings were diverse and delicious! Ellie Sirakova at reception was a gracious host with a wonderful smile, offering great suggestions to explore the city like a true Berliner! If I owned a business I would definitely hire Ellie! Will definitely frequent the 25 Hour chain in the future! Hoping one will open in Savannah Georgia!
A really nice hotel, very cool and quiet room overlooking the zoo (amazing sun rise each morning) Plus all the staff were amazing (special mention to the girl who when I went up to the restaurant and asked for a mug went all the way down from floor 10 to floor 3 with me to get me one! ) Location of hotel is also brilliant (very close to Zoologischer train station) so airport only about 40 mins away and other areas of the city less than that. Berlin is a fantastic place to visit!
Nice design and top service. Free mini bar content. Great views. Beds not that comfy but ok. This hotel has a bike rental which offers good quality bike and all service was excellent. It's also well located next to subway station and in district with plenty of things to do. You have Neni restaurant and rooftop bar with privileged access for hotel guests. Plenty of people from the city want to come there so it's a very nice and lovely place. Highly recommended.
This hotel is really exceptional if you like very stylish accommodations with lots of luxuries. The vibe is urban jungle, with so many cool modern touches. They have spared no expense in adding comforts such as a Bluetooth speaker in the room, a free stocked mini bar with snacks and drinks, robes and slippers, a bag for shopping and more. There are so many little nooks and areas within the hotel to lounge as well, including an entire floor of cozy seats, hammocks, work stations and record listening stations. The mall connected to the hotel is full of unique artisan shops and a food court of unusual and ethnic food options. Breakfast is served each day in the NENI restaurant on the roof and I can safely say this is the best and most beautiful hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen. Just the view from the restaurant is worth the trip and the food quality is unmatched. They have a full selection of European and American breakfast options, including smoked salmon, mimosas, made to order coffee and espresso and made to order eggs and omelets. If you are interested in nightlife, one of Berlins hottest bars, Monkey Bar is on the roof. As a hotel guest you receive unlimited access to the bar which others line up for admittance each night. The drinks are a little pricey and the service is sometimes patchy but the scene is hot and the view of the city is breathtaking, including views directly into the Berlin zoo. The hotel has easy access to public transportation and a close trip to any part of the city. They also have an attached parking structure for a small daily fee. I would stay here again, and recommend without question, as the price was fair and they offer so many luxuries and things to do. The 25 hours Bikini Hotel will stay in my top hotels visited ever!…
