Far too quirky a hotel for me. Why a bicycle in the room and a bed on the floor, with lighting so dim it was impossible to shave? Although it was only an overnight stay so clothes space did not matter there was virtually nowhere to put clothes. Sone might like this but it seemed to me that this was style overcoming practicality.
- The curtains don't block all the light, so be prepared to have light come in at 6am... - Air con wasn't really working and was unable to cool down room (remained at 23 degrees which is much higher than recommended sleeping temperature)
Lovely hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. The views from the 10th floor restaurant are the second best in Berlin (possibly the best – the TV Tower is quite high). And the sauna, looking out over the tranquility of the Zoological Garden, is the dictionary definition of tranquility. Thank you – I'll be back!
Quirky hotel that looks directly over the monkey enclosures. Staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent. Rooms clean and has everything you need. Monkey bar is clearly the place to go and queues are round the corner, as a guest you get priority
Room, location, staff... simply perfect! Even the breakfast at Neni is better than you can get anywhere in town. Going to Berlin? Choose Bikini 25Hours, not the cheapest sale but is worth every Eurocent (or penny).
Came to run in the Berlin 25K - tested +ve for COVID after the race and had to isolate for 1 week in the hotel. The staff were wonderful and helpful with an otherwise nasty predicament. It could have been a lot worse but the staff helped make it tolerable.
Such a funky and stylish place to stay... incredible views over the zoo and park ...what a way to start the day with a roof top breakfast.. the lifts are such fun and everything comfortable and clean.. staff couldnt be more helpful and smiley ! I wish there were twin rooms overlooking the zoo too!! twin beds are a great size though and pillows really good...and a fabulous rain shower.
Superb location, views, service and breakfast. Rooms are a bit basic but unique in their own way, and the view over the zoo makes up for a lot. Try laying down on the hammock after a long day and watch the urang utans do the same, it's a crack. The front desk service is the best I've seen. The only downside is the lack of coffee facilities in the rooms.
I had a really nice time staying the Bikini. My room was really nicely proportioned with a beautiful view to the ZOO. This though also meant that you can't refrain from hearing the animals (birds in particular) which in some ways are charming but for other more sensitive souls without a doubt distracting. The hotels absolutely star is the restaurant on the top accompanied with a great bar. Whether I had breakfast/lunch or dinner I absolutely loved the Israeli family owned NENI. It was a great stay and I would absolutely consider going back.
Best stay ever - cosy, stylish, urban. Wonderful view of the zoo from our room and from the restaurant. Delicious breakfast with omelets, eggs etc and a nice buffet. The staff was always very helpful and service oriented. We also enjoyed the sauna, the lounge area and the Monkey bar.
