The hotel is similar to other ibis budget places, although in this one the breakfast was pretty good. We stayed here for a few days including NYE, when we noticed that rooms were very noisy. You can hear pretty much every time some opens/closes the...More
Hotel found in the middle of everything worth visiting and even shopping area. However, indication given by staff not very trustworthy though. The room was comfortable but no electric kettle or even hair dryer was available in the room though but could be rented! For...More
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It should be remembered that the hotel is a budget hotel and this is reflected in the prices. The rooms are quite basic but they are warm, clean and comfortable and you can't hear that much street noise...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.

I did not have a safe in my room, but there were towels! It is not a stripped down hotel, but offers reasonable value for the price asked. I did have a breakfast, and the room was featured to sleep three! It was quite unique. I hope this helps!
