Positive: Excellent breakfast; good location (near s-bahn and u-bahn); the room had a fan; friendly staff. Negative: Wifi connection did`nt work in my room (only coridor); very bad bed (the mattress was sunk off); cannot sleep with opened window (noisy bars near the hotel).

I arrived late to the hotel. The female receptionist was nice to provide me with a room. So I thank her for that. Now, concerning the hotel : The main entrance door lock is complicated to use. I put the key in and doesn't seem to be open... You start to freak hoping to not spend your rest of the...

Booked this place online because of its easy access to train/bus station and that is a very good advantage of this place as there are also so many food places, stores and shops around within walking distance. The entrance looks rather ghostly and had to walk round before I was told it was the actual entrance. Then pressed the bell...

Me and my girlfriend went to hotel Stuttgart Eck in Charlottenburg, Berlin. Mostly because of its geographical placement right beside the railway (s-bahn) we booked this place. We soon found out that this was not a hotel for us....or anybody! Every morning the cleaning staff knocked on our door, like if we weren't welcome there and they just wanted us...

Booked this hotel as part of an online deal and it was the cheapest that included breakfast and free wifi. Hotel is well located right next to subway station and bus links which takes next to no time to get were you're headed! The staff are friendly, buffet breakfast was good and open for 3 hours. We had a shared...

The room and bathroom were very clean although both very small. The bathroom had a annoying machine that would turn on to drain the water every time you used the sink, shower or toilet. Breakfast buffet was very good, although watched over by Russian women who appeared bored to be there. Hotel advertised free wi-fi and parking. Wi-fi barely worked...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
