Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel in August 2016 when visiting friends and attending a wedding. The hotel is located in an old building. The reception is not directly at the entrance which might be a little confusing. Hotel room was ok but nothing special, breakfast was also ok. The hotel is pretty close to public transportation stations....

It was a nice old building. Very easy to access to the main shopping street Ku'dam and some of the Christmas markets as well. We found the rooms comfortable, large and full of light with the big windows. Breakfast was also fine.

stayed four nights while attending meeting. older quaint hotel in convenient location, dining choices nearby, and close to bus line and short walk to u-bahn. excellent interactions with staff, who were all very helpful. updated spacious room (little creaky but expected in a "historic" hotel) with comfortable bed and bathroom. would stay again.

This hotel is an older building close to the Kurfürstendamm shopping area. For the location it is pretty good. Rooms are cosy and the bathroom small. The TV is as old as the building itself (didn't know those old TVs still worked). However the hotel is charming and has an atmosphere in keeping with the location. Close to shops, restaurants...

I and a friend stayed here for two nights. We came to Berlin in search of sights and beer so we only used the hotel to get changed in and of course sleep. The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from uhlandstrabe station and the popular Kurfenstendamm shopping street. The hotel itself was more than...

We stayed here three nights in June. The hotel is quite conveniently located, and many (though not all, in a big city like Berlin) tourist attractions are closeby, as are some good bars and cafes. The immediate neighborhood however is not particularly idyllic or have a lot on offer. Our check in was fast and convenient, and the staff is...

Great location and very tasty breakfast! Hotel has a old and authentic atmosphere. Staff is friendly and always greets you when entering the hotel. Rooms are clean but basic, good enough for the price. We had a great time at this hotel.

I really cannot speak too highly of this hotel. Not my usual style but nevertheless one which I found to be exceptional value for money. Converted from a very old building and it has great character. Do not expect 5 star bling! Rooms have woodchip wallpaper and are clean. TV is local programmes only. No Sky or digital channels. Beds...

If you're a Hyatt, Hilton or Marriott kind of person, then this bare-bones, faded 1800s quirky place is not for you. If you're adventurous, fit to climb stairs, open-minded for real German boutique-like lodging, then book here. The setting is an 1800s Baroque building that takes you back in time - with a breathtaking lobby untouched by WWII bombs. The...

“They offer rooms that face out to the city street or that face the garden. I chose one that would face the garden is it would be quieter. But the street the hotel is on is very quiet so I don't think it would matter which room you take.”
