It's just 3 stations away from Berlin messe for business conference. 2 stations from Tier garden for fresh air running. Nice neighborhood for food and shopping. Most important, Breakfast every morning is fantastic.

We did not choose this hotel because it is close to the Kurfürstendamm, but because we needed a large room for 4 people. And big it was, also in height, maybe 4 meters and decorated very tasteful. The hallway was a bit worn, but it was offset by a old elevator and a feeling that it was great to stay...

Room 32 was a room for 4 which was a decent size with a balcony which was a great bonus for my smoker friends. Bathroom was really small though, you can only be in there one at a time. Great breakfast and lovely staff. Clean towels everyday. Hop on hop off tour bus was less than 10mins walk away from...

We stayed at Hotel Elba for 4 nights and thought the hotel was lovely and in a good location. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is small but adequate with a good shower and hairdryer. The breakfast was extremely sufficient with different foods each morning...

My experience was not so good. To my understanding it is not worth money asked for. First of all this place is not hotel, but pension - hotel. Reception is working from 8:00-20:00, in rest of time there is some phone number for emergency cases. Around this place, some construction works are being performed. Parking is located in public parking...

The area of the hotel is good and a quick train ride from the more central area of Berlin. The room was more than sufficient and had everything I needed. My only criticism is that the passageways and stairs could do with an upgrade. However the more important thing is always a clean room.

We stayed at Hotel Elba for 3 nights and really liked the hotel, the location, the breakfast and especially the employees. Good restaurants and shopping in the immediate area as well as parking (but it does require some looking.)

Stayed here for one night. Reception only opened from 08.00-20.00 so outside these hours not sure what you would do if you had a problem in the room. Part of the hotel is residential and had to go back to reception to ask for directions a second time to locate our bedroom. Our room no 23 is nothing like any...

My partner and I stayed here last month for 2 nights. In general we had a good stay -- not amazing, but definitely not bad. Pleasant. Our room was a decent size and had everything one might need. In terms of cleanliness we found some of the furniture slightly dusty but otherwise good. Our room was on the first floor...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
