The Good: The Staff were very pleasant, friendly and courteous. The Room and bathroom were very Spacious with comfortable bed. The location is excellent as it is 5 minutes away from Savignyplatz SBahn in a nice neighborhood. The Bad: This could easily have been a 5* review but I removed 1 star as I feel they were let down by their Housekeeping department. I wanted some hot water for my tea and decided to use the Tea Kettle.. I always open the kettle to check if it is clean (based on previous experience) and once I looked inside I noticed there was already some water inside but with alot of dirt... I took the image and showed to the reception during checkout next day and they were very sorry about it.. The general cleanliness of the room was not up to the mark..
We enjoyed the location of the hotel and the garden view. Brekfast options was excellent. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and very convenient with kitchen facilities. We would have appreciated iron facilities in the room and were a bit surprised that these were not available. As a family of 3, they charge 87 euro for the extra bed, probably the most expensive charge I have experienced for an extra bed. We stayed 3 nights and the room was never cleaned during our stay. Service from reception and breakfast staff was excellent. To sum up; lovely hotel, in a very quiet and relaxing location and atmosphere, but a bit too expensive for what they offer. Probably a bit more worth it if you are 2 adults travelling without children. Would recommend.
There were seven of us from the UK and Australia. Our four rooms were all on the same floor. Clean and warm with all the facilities one might want. Staff very friendly and helpful. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.
A nice and comfortable apartment as there was lots of space. Only concern was that this room obviously had been a smoking room and we couldn't switch to a none smoking room. We opened the windows to air it out and it did help a bit. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff were very helpful with the check in and directions. Though this apartment is not central, it was easy to walk to public transit to get around and see the sights. There are grocery stores and restaurants close by.
A well-run apartment hotel in a non-descript corporate building near the Tiergarten train station. Has all the amenities you need for longer stays - small kitchen, kettle, fridge, etc. Had a small maintenance issue, but it was handled promptly and with good humour. Would recommend.
Very nice apartment hotel centrally located in Berlin nearby railway station Zoologischer Garten. Surrounding area offers a lot of restaurants and local infrastructure. Breakfast buffet rich in quality (take food in the garden, if wheater allows).
The hotel is located on a quiet street in a fashionable district, 10 minutes walk from the major Zoo Garden rail station and acclaimed shopping area. We arrived very late and although the front office was closed the process to get our room key was smooth. While our third bed (for child) was not set up in the room a call to guest services managed to get the bed brought quickly. The room was well designed and comfortable with an impressive shower system. We did not hear neighbors through the walls. And all the staff were excellent. There is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. And while our stay in the month of June coincided with nice weather — high 60s to low 70s — any warmer and would’ve been an issue. That said, there are floor to ceiling doors that open allowing a lot of air plus a standing fan in the closet. (Note: our European friends are used to no A/C but for an American audience would be a deal breaker.)…
Stayed here for a couple of nights. Rooms clean and tidy, ideal for exploring Berlin. Everything not too far away, and very friendly staff. Plenty of little restaurants, shops etc to visit within walking distance.
Stayed here with my other half for a romantic getaway - this hotel was near key transport links and many of the key destinations in the city were only a short train ride away. It's quiet but central and offers a real home from home feel with a fridge, kitchenette and walk-in closet - one of the few hotels I have stayed in where I felt so at home that I completely unpacked upon arrival. Massive- sized bathroom with a big shower that was made up of marble stone so felt very luxurious. Staff are friendly and helpful and there are a range of amenities nearby including restaurants (the best Italian EVER is around the corner called La Bocca di Culaccino) Only negatives are: They do not have king sized duvets or mattresses! So me and my partner slept on a bed - made up of two mattresses and had to try and snuggle together under two seperate duvets. This is pretty odd for a hotel in one of the main cities in Europe. Towel sizes are tiny - like either a face or hand towel size are offered and there were no shower caps in the bathroom which again I find pretty weird. Lastly the decor in the hotel whilst stylish was poorly maintained. There were stains on the carpet (massive marks from spills and god knows what else) in the main hallway and marks also on the sofa in our room.…
Lovely stay here as a surprise trip. Large rooms with all amenities - TV, kitchen, table, lounge chair, balcony window, soaps, hairdryer. Spacious clean and modern room. Hotel itself has a welcoming feel to it and staff are all very friendly. Morning breakfast is held near the reception area which has lots of buffet style options. You can watch the news here too which is always useful. The service was very friendly, professional and efficient. The location is good, 5 minute walk from one of the metro stations and here are food shops, McDonalds etc. In the other direction is a lovely square full of lots of different restaurants and also usefully a bank. Most amount of time we spent on the train from here was 30mins to the East side of Berlin but this was worth it to stay in a nicer, safer neighbourhood. Very close by is the west end with very high end shops and department stores which was lovely to browse. We were in Berlin for a gig at the old airfield and getting to and from there with taxis was easy. Would recommend here for short or long term stays. Lovely comfortable and relaxing!…
