Me and my fiancee enjoyed staying this accommodation. Room was beautiful and breakfast was delicious. The receptionist team was very friendly. Location of the studios was fantastic and they do rent a bike thats what I remembered.

We arrived early to Schoenhouse Studios but the very friendly and efficient reception team stored our luggage while we went to explore the city. The hotel is only a ten minute walk away from Alexanderplatz and TV Tower. When we came back and got into the room we were extremely happy with the massive room we found waiting for us.... More

Stayed here for 6 nights recently on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was fantastic, very well appointed, with a shabby chic vibe going on. Maid service was only every three days but you could ask for extra towels if necessary and overall we did not consider this an issue. Continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful if somewhat boring,... More

This being our first trip to Berlin, we decided on an apartment thinking it would give us more freedom, from the airport we took a bus to Alexander pl, from their a M2 tram three stops to the apartments. Check-in was quick but clinical, our room was on the second floor there is a lift, the key card work well.... More

We stayed in the studios for 3 nights. The room was small, but comfortable. The location was pretty good. It's about a 10-15 min walk to the TV tower in Alexanderplatz and many great Prenzlauer Berg restaraunts and shops are a few steps in the opposite direction. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I'd recommend choosing the breakfast option... More

We booked this hotel based on reviews stating that it was a quiet location. Maybe it once was, but now there is some serious construction work taking place on the plot next door. The noise is unbelievable and starts really early. I'm not talking about a little bit of hammering and drilling, this is major construction involving huge drilling rigs.... More

Stayed here for a long weekend in Berlin. The apartments were easy to find and about a 15 minute walk from the closest train station. Felt very welcome when we arrived and check-in was smooth. Apartment was lovely - big bed, separate sofas, chair and table, wardrobe and decent kitchen for what is needed. En-suite was good as well. Our... More

We booked Townhouse app. for 4 persons. It's located on the ground floor, behind the main building and it's very quiet. It has a nice small atrium. App. is spacious, nicely decorated, very clean, kitchen has all amenities. Breakfast had enough variety, only missing some yogurt and cereals. Staff was helpful and friendly, gave us some useful advice. Perfectly located... More

If you want to be in A quieter area such as prenzlaurberg this is perfect, still a stroll to Alexanderplatz or transport handy opposite studios, nice spacious apartments, well fitted, reception desk until 11pm each day, this offers good value for a mid range budget, would stay here again, no complaints.

Stayed here for 6 nights and had a brilliant time. The location could not be better, only a 15 minute walk to Alexander Platz, or a very short walk to tram and underground stations, but yet far enough out to avoid overly tourist areas. Close to some very nice, local feeling restaurants and bars, so plenty to do in the... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
