Stayed here for 4 nights! Booked through Secret Escapes! Highly recommend! Hotel staff during breakfast were very friendly, breakfast was plentiful. The waffles were amazing! Lots of variety! Has a small bar area to sit in the evening and an outside seating area looked lovely and I imagine would be lovely on a summers evening. Would definitely recommend, close to the tram and underground and only a few stops away from Alexanderplatz.
this was a very nice large hotel in an excellent location. The staff was also very helpful. They were gracious enough to extend our reservation twice due to COVID restrictions. We would stay here again.
Lovely hotel. Modern inside. Room was clean quiet and had everything we needed. Loved the shower! The management team were so helpful in recommending a restaurant for us and what to do in the evening. If we're back in Berlin we'll go back here.
Service is outstanding...nothing a problem for them - front office and bar staff get a gold star! The room I had was beautiful, super clean and modern, with a mini bar topped up every day with soft drinks. Modern walk in shower - and best of all, I have found a hotel in Berlin with a medium to soft mattress with a topper - and air con that actually works (Radisson - take note)! Breakfast was lovely, the area running into an open courtyard - and the hotel is in a great location. One thing I would say...its on a man road where the trams run, so if you're a light sleeper get a room that faces onto the courtyard.
We had a de-luxe room. The soft drink minibar and coffee machine were included. Breakfast was great but make sure to go early (latest 8.30) if you want the full selection. The nice staff have problems to refill when crowded. Hotel parking was full but possible to park in nearby safe Mercure hotel garage (19 EUR). We will come back next time when in Berlin.
i31 is a nice hotel. On the contrary to other reviews, they were quite willing to change the dates of our stay due to the COVID restrictions. The breakfast staff is extremely friendly. The barkeeper however was not. The bar was barely stocked (my first three choices of beer for example). There were games in the lobby, which we presumed were free to use. The barkeep was mad at us for using it - we should have asked him first. When we apologized, he frankly admitted to be "irritated" at us. If the games are for personel only, they should be kept behind the bar. I was shocked at the nerve of this man towards customers. It left a bad aftertaste everytime we passed the lobby.
Taken me a while to review, sorry. That’s certainly not due to anything negative as this is an excellent hotel situated in a superb location in a fantastic city. The hotel itself is very clean, spacious and well staffed. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. Victoria in particular. At one stage we were discussing where to eat in the lounge and Victoria took the time to come over and mention somewhere she liked - TripAdviser reviews supported this opinion and it was superb! The room was also very clean and spacious with a good shower. The bed was very comfy and the room was a nice temperature with silent aircon. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment if I’m honest. I appreciate that Covid restrictions prevented the buffet which I’m sure would have been nice, but, given this, we thought we would have a wonderful selection to be brought to us but actually had a couple of meats and a roll each. We did get more when asked for, I just thought more effort could have been put into this for the price. All tested very nice though. The service at all times was impeccable though. Berlin is an amazing city. We stayed for 3 nights and had to cram in the key places to visit as there’s so much to see and do here. The food on offer is also fantastic, so much choice and variety, all at sensible prices. The hotel is at the top of the main Freidrichstrasse so ideal for walking to every attraction. Checkpoint Charlie in particular was superb. The hotel and city generally was very well prepared for dealing with guests during the pandemic. I hope all is well there now. Overall, we had a great stay at this wonderful hotel in this fantastic city and would definitely recommend it and will stay here when we visit again.…
The positive aspects of this hotel are: It is a very Modern and cozy Hotel, Trendy, rooms have a size, the lobby Service outstanding, and the location just fantastic. It is indeed an excellent option to stay in Mitte. Negative Points: We recommend an urgent renovation to the existing mattresses as they are quite old, noisy, and very very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep the whole night. Finally, we recommend the hotel to invest in better toilet supplies... we are still trying to understand if the toilet paper was indeed just cheap toilet paper or sandpaper. These 2 items are very easy to improve, so that we can help your customer satisfaction. In our humble review, if the 2 above negative points were not existing, we would give a 5 stars review.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful, clean and quiet room with balcony. We enjoyed to be able to switch of the air-condition and to sleep at night with open window. Public transport close to the hotel - TRAM, bus, trains. The electric i3 BMW free of charge is the icing on the cake. We will definitively come back again.
Another great 2 night stay here. During Covid times the extra effort taken to protect everybody is very much evident. Buffet breakfast was lovely - masks had to be worn whilst selecting breakfast (why didn’t we always do this before Covid? (It seems such a strange concept for people to be breathing germs over open food without a face covering) Parking is limited - we had to park on the side street on night one. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to stay for visiting Berlin.
