Nice hotel in a nice rural-ish area of Spandau. Rooms were clean, breakfast good and hotel staff friendly. About €6 in Uber from Spandau station. Great rooftop bar and not stupid prices. Ideal location for gigs nearby

This hotel was good value, but the lack of air conditioning could have been much more of a problem had I gone during the summer heatwave. Fortunately, I was able to sleep with the window open and found the aircraft noise didn't disturb me that much. Set outside of central Berlin, the area of Spandau is well served by public transport but make sure you factor in enough time. The sauna facilities were great for a hotel, with a few different saunas, a steam room and roof terrace.

I spend here with my husband 5 days in the beginning of the summer in 2018. The big issue was the fact that for a 4 star hotel there were no air conditioning in the room. I believe there were some rooms available with air conditioning but with extra charge. That it is something hard to believe in a 4 star hotel. On the other hand the breakfast was pretty week with very low diversity. Even the omlette was available in some days at request to a cook that was doing in real time. Even was fresher like this it takes a lot of time and there are some language barieres, especially since not everybody speaks German. I was surpised at check-out to realize that the clerk, even it was very nice and kind, it was struggling to speak in English. Imagine how hard it was to explain to her that I need on the bill the VAT number. Maybe it was easy in German but unfortunately I don't speak this language.

I stayed in this hotel due to a Seminar I participated. Because of the heat it was almost impossible to have a well resting sleep. By opening the windows it was too loud due to traffic as well as airplanes. The bathroom was okay but the soap dispenser didn’t work. The room was clean and there were always two small bottles of water in the fridge (sort of minibar). The idea of having a small tablet in the room as „digital concierge“ is in general great but it didn’t work at all. When leaving the room the lights were out in the hallway despite the motion sensor. There seems to be a gap between the distance of the motion sensor and rooms and because of the fact that there are no windows in the hallway it’s pretty dark and impossible to see where you are heading. The breakfast was nice as the cook would serve fresh omelette and they also had a bit of fish and fresh orange juice. They also provided lactose-free beverages. But to be honest. As this is a 4-star Hotel I would have expected a bit more. I scheduled a massage - 20 minutes for 35€. That was worth ever penny. In general i guess staying here in winter would probably be alright but never ever again in summer without air conditioning.

No air conditioning in the rooms. I could barely sleep due to the heat. Staff members are nice for most of them. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have nothing special. The swimming pool is nice too. You should try it.
