Stay here to have a good safe time in Berlin very close to train station Berlin-Charlottenburg, walking distance to the shopping streets Wilmersdorfer Strasse and Kurfürstendamm and by bus 10 - 15 minutes to Tegel TXL airport. Big breakfast buffet, free wifi all around the hotel / hostel and lots of lovely restaurants to eat right around the corner and... More

I've been here since Tuesday and I'm staying until Monday (25/7/2016) and it's fantastic so far. I've got a free upgrade to a better room, yay me. Rooms get cleaned every day, bathrooms etc. too. It has a kitchen, open until 9pm, which is early, but it is because of the law. 'Nachtruhe'(forgot the English word) starts at 9pm and... More

Super friendly staff who were very helpful and answered any questions - no matter how silly. Clean rooms and common areas, 24 hour reception is comforting. Location fabulous, being opposite the subway station which only takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the city centre. Really positive atmosphere which is comforting for any traveller!

My first time in Berlin and it was easy place to find. Place is clean and breakfast served is good. All staff members are very friendly except for one girl who keeps shouting at people. She is only girl in that team as well, if not she is only black girl. Horrid behaviour and bad temper. Except that, place is... More

You pay for what you get- very cheap, but in a dead part of Berlin. If you're looking to socialize and party, don't stay here. People were actually very strange to talk to and I found that most of my roommates were struggling with a mental illness. On the positives- it was clean and wifi worked well

It's a very average property, if you just have to sleep there, it may be OK. I had a knee injury and informed the property about it, and yes i received a confirmation too that my message has been conveyed. But when I checked in, they offered me a room on fourth floor, there are no elevators and you have... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
