Third time at this Friedrichshain (old East Berlin) hotel. Very good transport links - tram, U bahn etc. Situated in the old East Berlin, hotel particularly convenient if wanting to savour the old "flavour" of the area (now disappearing with gentrification). The area is lively...More
We stayed for two nights on a quick trip to Berlin with an infant. The U-Bahn stop is just around the corner and made getting around so easy. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and restaurants and a lovely area to walk around. The hotel...More

This is a quiet little gem. Tucked along a side street in what was East Berlin. Nothing fancy, but clean rooms and close to lots of cafes & restaurants. Price is reasonable too. The breakfast was good with very accommodating staff.

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
