We stayed in this hotel for our break in Berlin. It is clean, comfortable and easy for getting to the S & U bahns. Breakfast was more than adequate and plentiful. Dining area was a little small as the hotel seemed to be very full when we got up for our breakfast on the first morning, although when one table...

Our 4 day stay at Hotel Abendstern was OK. There was a multiple things missing, which we expected is a standard things in normal hotel. First impression came, when I wrote in my enthusiasism an e-mail to Hotel that we will arrive hotel before 6 pm, as it was adviced on the Booking -site. I also asked gently the top...

Hotel has no heirs or graces. It is clean, it is tidy, it is comfortable, it is reasonably priced, it is central. If this is what you want for a few nights then this is your hotel. If you want a bit more luxury then go somewhere else. This is my first night of a three night stay and I...

I have stayed 3 days at this hotel and it was perfect for a budget traveller. It is clean, comes with good breakfast and in a perfect spot for public transport. If you re coming from the Schonefeld airport you take a U7 to Wilmersdorfer St. stop and you are around the corner from the hotel. Across from the hotel...

The heading summarizes my experience. The hotel is very well located. Lots of shopping, restaurants etc available within a very short radius. Not much problem in getting a cab or the train. Rooms are neat. I was lucky to get a room with a nice view from the balcony. Breakfast is standard..decent food. The not-so-greats: - The Reception staff was...

Booked via Booking.com for this so called 3 star Hotel.Nothing like it says in the pictures.Stayed one night (room 309) until we found a proper hotel.Do not go here, unless you want a Hostel.Interior very very dated and room bleak felt like a prison cell. Will be seeking refund from Booking .com.

I got a bit scared about this hotel after reading some of the reviews. But it surprised me positively (maybe because i had so much lower expectations)! The room was clean, the bahn station was close and kudamm street was also quite near. Breakfast was ok. Have no complains about this hotel!

Well, hotel is very well located by public transport, you could use S-bahn or RB also. Rooms are not big, but nicely cleaned, towels changed each day. Breakfast is very good, big variety, fresh juices, cofee are at 3 rd level. Staff was polite. Wifi was weak at roon Nr 2-09.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
