This isn’t the world’s most distinctive or memorable hotel, but it’s comfortable, convenient and cheap (about €75 a night when I stayed there). I had a good-sized room with a big bathroom and a powerful shower, and there were some extras like a mini-bar and...More
We were looking for nice place for 2 days. It was good choice. Near to the airport, metro stations and quite convenient for sighseeing. Interior is modern, nicely arranged. Really quiet area for those who want rest a bit.
Selected this Hotel because my son is staying in Berlin for working experience for a year. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine from the region and a pretzel yum! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable...More

No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.

Yes and No because it depends what time of year that you go! During the winter months they don't have the air con on which was when we were there, I don't know about the summer but I would assume that it would be on. The hotel is a little out of the way, but Berlin has great transport and the hotel is outstanding. Hope that you have a lovely time there as we did.
