Good hotel, central location close to "Zoo" metro stop and also stop for the airport train. Also near a lot of restaurants, bars, clubs and clothes shops. Bombed out Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is within walking distance as well.

Hotel is in a good location for travel around Berlin, The rooms are comfortable and are of a reasonable size. The only issue is that some of the rooms are of a very modern design and have some features that you may or may not appreciate. The rooms are open plan the bathroom being integtaed with the bedroom(Not the Toilet!!!!)....

The design of the rooms - especially the ones with a bath tub, is interesting, however not very practical. The tub takes up a lot of space and is right next to the bed. The restaurant and bar is quite good - again very nice design. The staff is very kind and helpfull, and made the stay very pleasant. The...

Hotel is excellently located near transportation and attractions. A block from the Kdam, and in the opposite direction, Savigny Platz. We were able to walk to many restaurants and attractions. The room, while comfortable, was a bit strange with cosmetic mirror and several other amenities were too high and one side of the bed was blocked on one side by...

I spent 4 nights at Q for my wifes 30th and it didn't disappoint. Directions from Tegal airport: X9 bus to Zoologischer Garten then 1 stop on the S-bahn to Savignyplatz. It's a 5min stroll from there, very easy to reach. There is also a U-bahn round the corner on the K'damm but we didn't use that route. The hotel...

This one is difficult to place. Reminded me more of my apartment in Amsterdam next to the Red Light district than a family hotel next to some up-end market shops. The staff I must say are really friendly and helpful, before arriving asking about parking and looking for English movies in Berlin. Answered immediately. The breakfast was really good, coffee...

I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Q. Everyone at the front desk speaks English, and they could not have been nicer. My room was small, but very comfortable. It's in a great location and easily walkable to public transportation. They have a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning, but I chose not to purchase that. This hotel...

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Nice rooms and the Q! has it's very own style. The restaurant at The Fox bar has good oriental food for a correct price. Not to far from S or U-bahn stations.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Q hotel, nearby the Ku'dam. What is expected to be a rather expensive neighbourhood, was surprisingly quite affordable thanks to Travelbird. The moment we stepped in the entrance, we fell in an immediate vacation ease. The reception was genuinely friendly and assisting. Everything is nearby the hotel, by foot, by bike, by train,...

My husband and I and our children stayed in this hotel in Janua2016 . Our stay will be with us for a lifetime. It was something out of a fairytale. The hotel is in immaculate condition and to say it's stately would be an understatement. At the time seeing old historic places was very common for us, but when we...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
