The Victor Resident hotel in Tegel, Berlin, is functional if very basic. There is a cupboard which contains a teeny weeny kitchen, microwave, fridge, 2 ring cooker and sink. Amazing how they fitted it into a tiny space. However, There are no utensils or cooking implements (not even a kettle) which you can apparently ask the reception to provide. The...

The rooms are very worn. And from 5 o'clock an airplane is thundering over the hotel every 60 seconds. On the other hand the hotel is conveniently located. For one or two nights ok we paid 53 Euros for bed and breakfast. Not bad. Probably I would take the next Berlintrip a somewhat quieter hotel. They could really pay more...

Our first impression was that the furniture was a little tired. The room was adequate though and a reasonable size. The reception staff speak excellent English and were very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice, including cooked breakfast. The rooms don't have kettles (a German thing) but there was a microwave and sink in the kitchenette. We...

Stepped into lobby after a long flight, was ignored by the guy behind the counter...than the fire alarm sounded, all hell broke lose. 30 minutes later I was in a room with a broken window...changed the room... heard women in high heels going in and out almost all night...hookers? Never again. The location is far from any activity in berlin...

Victor's is a short cab or bus ride on #128 from the Berlin Tegel Airport. It's located in a residential neighborhood. You are a few blocks from the metro/underground for a trip into central Berlin. The only real noise is the occasional planes from the airport. The breakfast buffet is quite good from cereals, yogurt, breads, cheese and cold cuts,...

Only a single night's stay here before I fly home tomorrow but a nice little room on the 6th floor is all I need. A little bit of a walk from the train station was welcomed because I've done lots of train riding and needed to stretch my legs. I was happy to be able to check in earlier than...

Clean, accessible and good price. Close to airport and metro station for a quick run to the city. Reception very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was bountiful and the service was very good and professional. The rooms are clean and spacious.

Basic, comfortable and affordable with polite helpful staff. I personally wouldn't book this hotel for leisure, but for a short business trip it was fine. However, you will need to be book cabs a lot because it's not in a central location.

This hotel has few amenities - no lounge area and tiny bar only open after 5pm (not at all on Sunday). It was extremely hot and stuffy as there are no fans or air-conditioners. As a solo traveller I had to sit in my room which was lonely and boring! To reach the tourist area where everything happened and tours...
