The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin located near Potsdamer Platz, is a superb hotel that delivers from beginning to end. I had the chance to stay for one night and wish I could have stayed the entire 14 days I spent in Germany. Before my reservation, Nicole was able to assist me with specific requests and provided great information about amenities and restaurants inside the hotel. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Joaquin at the front desk. He went above and beyond to ensure I got all the information I needed during my stay. I stayed in a corner room and felt highly content with the 450 sq. ft., comfortable bed + pillows, and spacious bathroom. Christopher F. added to the special touches by providing a welcome amenity and friendly welcome to the hotel. During my stay, I went to The…

While checking out from the hotel on 18.01.2023, I noticed that an extra was added to our bill. When we wanted to talk to the duty manager or department manager regarding the issue, we talked to a person who did not even share his name with us. Although I persistently asked his name, he didn't even have the courtesy to tell me his name. I guess this is the value you give to the guest. While checking the ticket of charge together, we encountered an unprofessional approach. The ticket and the signature on it do not belong to me. When I told them, they tried to make me believe that the signature was mine(and they did it by making fun of me). The fact that the misfortune was spoken at the reception and in front of people is a different matter. Your manager should have invited me to…

We encountered terribly inconsistent service over our 8 day stay. As regular visitors to Berlin my wife and I were looking forward to our first stay at this hotel but, frustratingly, we had to wait 3 hours and a room change to finally get into our room 'with a view' which we had booked, at around 5pm. As Virtuoso guests, an up grade to a room without a view doesn't really count as an upgrade! Later, we noticed a sticky residue and a long black hair on one bedside table plus drink glasses marks on the wooden desk. We provided photos to Reception to highlight the "poor house keeping" standard. The rooms are well appointed but poorly serviced. My photos were discussed at management meeting the following morning. Not a good start. During our stay my poached eggs were delivered…

We loved our 3 nights at the RC Berlin. Perfect for a getaway with only a few minor issues. Would love to stay here again! The Good: - Great service all around - incredibly friendly staff - Large, updated rooms and bathrooms with all the amenities one could want - Incredibly comfortable beds - Breakfast was great - quality and selection - and room-service dinner was good - Lovely welcome amenity of German red wine and a lovely bottle of bubbly on NYE - Great location to see sights and to see fireworks without even leaving the room! The Bad: - A bathrobe went missing during a cleaning so we were down one - A small amount of wear and tear around the room The Ugly: - Don't expect a relaxing pool! Children were doing cannonballs (despite signs...), people claiming loungers and…

I rarely give a property a 100%, but this one deserves it because it is perfect in every aspect. They cleverly did a full refresh of this property during Covid and it shows. My room was huge, clean, and comfortable. The common areas are amazing as well plus the 6pm toast to the roaring 20s every day was so cool. The breakfast was amazing, and Rita always called me by my name and made sure I was well taken care of. She is a treasure. Sure, Potsdamer Platz isn’t the sexiest location in Berlin, but that’s why you have feet. A lot of great sites in easy walking distance. I love, love, love this hotel!

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Luxurious rooms with very comfortable beds and great room amenities. Beautiful lobby and decent gym (a few extra weight machines wouldn’t go astray though). Fantastic breakfast buffet, lovely bar area and the nightly champagne fountain was an extra special treat. Brilliant location- can walk to many of the attractions in Berlin and lots of restaurants and food places nearby. However our most favourite thing of all were the incredible friendly, professional and helpful staff. From the doorman, to reception, to the concierge to the housekeeping staff and the staff on the breakfast buffet, particularly the beautiful Rita who remembered our names, you all made our visit so incredibly special. Thank you so much. Could never stay…

Very nice hotel, this was booked by our company for just one night. The exterior is not my cup of tea, but the interior makes up for that. Excellent service and very nice and spacious room and bathroom. Extensive breakfast on ground floor with an outside dining section, also great service.

We have been to many Ritz properties around the world. We have noticed their franchise model for many properties has been lacking. This is especially the case for this property. The lobby is beautiful and service is top-notch. However, the property itself is very dated. The rooms, hallways, wood panels show decades of wear and tear. Sure, these are repaired and painted but it feels like a retirement home - a luxury retirement home. Not sure if that’s where I would want to spend my next vacation.
